Surprised on what I'd just said, I closed my eyes, trying to convince myself that this is a dream. Right now, I am surprised at myself. I've never made my dad this disappointed. This devistated. This... heartbroken. He always believed in me, ad I've let him down. I sighed and opened my eyes. Dad scratched his chin, then turned away. "But honey, I know you can do it, I-"
"Dad," I began, swallowing hard. "I, I will do this. For you," He turned back around.
"I'm glad you're not giving up," he said. "Don't let being nervous stop you from, achieving your goal. You've wanted this. I've wanted this."
I looked at my feet, listening to what he'd said. I brushed my feet together, thinkin about how he'd helped me grow up, giving me advice ever since I was a little girl. He helped me every step of the way. And now, it's my turn to help him.
