"Class," A young female teacher said to her class full of rowdy students, " I forgot to tell you that we will be getting another transfer student today." She said. The class, minus Yumeko, had perplexed expressions. The door slid open and footsteps sounded throughout the now quiet classroom. A girl stood in-front of the class.

The thing that stood out most was the rather large black bow that had red stripes running through it that was tied to her light gray hair. Other than that she wore the uniform that the school required you to wear, and she held an average sized brown school bag in her small gloved hands. "Hello, I'm Kaede Hitomi! It's nice to meet you all. I hope that today you all will welcome as a classmate," Kaede said enthusiasticly.

Whispers started to envelope the room talking about how cute she was or why there was another transfer student, but she didn't mind at all. She just stood there with a small smile graced on her pale face. "Hmm. I think I'll have Ryota and Yumeko show you around," the teacher calls out. Ryota looks up from her desk(Yep, Ryota is a Female now) and looks straight into Kaede's unusual red eyes, blushing a bit.

"U-uh-" "we'd be happy to show you around, Kaede!" A girl with long black hair piped up. "I really appreciate it!" Kaede responded while Ryota and Yumeko got up and led her out of the class. The duo showed Kaede around the large-as-hell Academy. When they were walking back to class, they saw a random student with a necklace that said 'Fido' around their neck. "What's that necklace for, and why does it say Fido?" Kaede asked while staring intently at the student as they walked away.

"K-Kaede, do you know how to gamble?" Ryota asked suddenly while looking away. "Um, I'd like to think that I know the basic rules and a few games like poker or darts," she explained while looking at Ryota. "Like Ryota told me when I first transferred here yesterday, here at Hyakkaou, gambling is our life blood. Once all the classes let out, you'll see it happening everywhere, and the students that attend here are filthy rich so the stakes are always extremely high." Yumeko jumped in and told Kaede.

"Yeah, and you'll get challenged sooner or later like Yumeko did yesterday. So-" Ryota was cut off by Kaede's slight giggling. Her eyes shined a bright orange for a second while she looked to the right of Ryota. "Well, I'll be looking forward to it!" She said while gripping the hem of her skirt tightly. 'Don't tell me she's one of them like Yumeko!' Ryota thought in her head while sweating bullets.

Once class let out for the day, many students crowded Kaede's desk, bombarding her with stupid questions. The door suddenly slid open, a flat-chested girl with blond hair tied into long pigtails stood confident, walking towards Kaede. The girl flashed her a bright smile before stepping closer. Kaede noticed that she had one of those necklaces, but this time it didn't say Fido, instead it said 'Mittens'.
