Part 6 ~ the sleepover

I'm sorry, this chapter isn't great, but please just read it, the next will be better. 

Lili's is reading in her room thinking about how she'll never speak to Cole again, but then her phone goes off.

Cole, appears on the screen.

She excepts the call and immediately hears his voice: "Hey Lili, I know KJ ins't home, because of that camp, but I don't have my keys, my parents aren't home, all my friends ar at that camp and I'm not in the mood for sleeping on a park bench."

"So, what you're trying to say is that you want to sleep here?"

"Yes." He says dubious.

She sighs and then says: "Keneti and my mom can't see you so I'm opening the door, distract them and then you run upstairs. Got it?"

"Yes, thank you so much, be there in five."

She hangs up and walks downstairs.

She slowly opens the front door and then walks to Keneti and her mom.

"Look," she says pointing at the yard.

They both look at the yard confused.

"I don't see anything honey, what did you see?"

"Look, there in the tree."

They look again and Lili sees Cole running upstairs.

"Oh, I think I looked wrong, Bye."

She runs upstairs and Keneti laughs.

Upstairs she sees Cole by KJs door.

"He always locks it, here follow me," she says pointing at her door.

They walk into her room and Cole isn't surprised at all; a lot of book shelves and a lot of pillows.

"I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I can't get a matrass for you, so if you want you can sleep in my bed."

"Are you sure you're okay with that?"

She laughs: "Otherwise I wouldn't ask."

"Well, then I'll except your offer, because I'm not in the mood for the ground," she says jokingly chic.

Lili jumps in her bed and Cole gets in after her.

"Cole?" Lili asks.

They both turn their heads to the each other and Cole answers: "Yes Lili."

"Why did you call me? I know all your friends are at that camp, but your popular, you've got a lot more girl numbers, why did you pick me?"

"There's a simple reason for that, I didn't want to stay over by a slut or some kind of girl who would tell the whole school that I slept at her house and I know you won't do that."

She gives him a light smile and then closes her eyes, so does Cole.

They both drift off to sleep, with the thought of each other in their heads. If they only knew what they feel for each other.

Lili wakes up, feeling strong arms around her. She thinks back and then realizes that those strong arms are Coles.

She immediately gets out of bed, grabs some clothes and walks downstairs to shower.

After half an hour she goes back upstairs and slams the door a little too hard. She wakes up Cole; he slowly opens his eyes and sits up.

"Hello sleepy," she says with a laugh.

"Good morning," he says, still a bit sleepy.

"I'm going to get some breakfast, want some too?"

He nods and notices what a sweet smile she has, how sweet she is, she just took him in, at 11 P.M. Why was she so sweet for him?

Ten minutes later she walks into the room with two plates of waffles.

"Hope you like waffles?"

"I don't like them, I love them."

They laugh and then start eating. Glancing at each other once in a while.

"When do you parents get back?" she asks when she's done eating.

"Shit, I totally forgot about that. Can I stay here one more night? I'll be gone the whole day and get back in the evening. Please?"

"Of course, I'm not gonna let you sleep at a bench in the park."

"You're amazing."

"I know," she says jokingly.

"No seriously, you just took me in at 11 P.M."

She feels her cheeks burning and then Cole says: "Did I just make you blush?"

"No," she says trying to hide her red cheeks.

"Yes I did." he has a big goofy smile on his face.

She jumps on the bed and punches him.

"Did you just," he says threatening and then starts to tickle her.

She laughs and tries to pull him off, but he is stronger.

"Cole... Cole... stop," she says laughing.

Eventually he stops and they both lay down.

"You're stupid," she says childish.

"I prefer the term funny."

"Oh shut up."

He laughs and then nobody says anything, there's a silence, then Cole gets up ad says: "I'm going now, I'll call you when I'm coming, is that okay?"

She nods and then he goes, careful, he can't be caught.

Lili wants to read, but she can only think about the raven-haired boy in whose arms she woke up, about how he tickled her and how he made her blush. Nobody ever made her blush again, did she like Cole, not that I mattered, cause he would never like her back. Well, that's what she thought.

That day was going by slowly, Lili was bored, just because she was waiting for Cole to come back. At dinner she was playing with her food, it was annoying her mom so much that she could leave the table. Not that it helped, cause in her room she started to be bored again, only she wouldn't admit to herself that she was waiting for Cole.

Finally her phone rang, she picks up and says: "I'll open the door."

Ten minutes later they were back in her room, but they weren't tired, they had both waited so long to be in her room again, they didn't want to go back to sleep.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Lili suggested.

"Ever heard of the Hunger Games?"

"I've read all the books, but never seen the movies."

"Then that's what we're going to watch."

Lili puts on the Hunger Games and they go sit on her bed. After watching part one, they watch part two and then three, before they know it's 6.30 A.M.

"Shouldn't we go to sleep?" Lili asks.

"But the last part."

"We'll watch it another time, okay?"

He sighs and then lies down, Lili does the same.

Cole wants to say goodnight, but sees she's already asleep. He gives her a kiss on her head and then closes his eyes.
