Many people asked Savannah about her "fight" with Justin. The one person that stood out to her was a cute boy in her grade, named Austin. He was really sweet and funny, and just happened to be in her third and fourth periods with her. This means they had the same lunch. Savannah totally wanted to get to know him. And she obviously had plenty of time to do so.
In third period, they didn't have assigned seats. Savannah sat in her usual corner seat, where she was mostly ignored. Austin caught her gaze and grinned. Savannah couldn't help smiling. He sat next to her.
"So, how is it going with the whole Justin problem?" Austin asked.
"Wow. look at who's being direct today. I actually don't see him until fourth period. i wouldn't be surprised if he hunts me down at lunch," Savannah admitted.
"Whoa. that dude is a creep. You probably aren't helping the situation much, though. Guys like the chase," Austin informed.
"What do you mean?" Savannah asked, confused.
"You are ignoring him and avoiding him. he probably sees that as a challenge."
The bell rang, so they had to stop talking, but Savannah planned on finishing this conversation. In the meantime, she had to ignore Austin to get him to like her. This was gonna be hard.
