10. jeno: smile

A/n: I'M BACK

After like 4 months from this book lol

Child man son Jeno is looking like a StRaIgHt A sTudEnt am I right lol

but he looks adorable ugh

"Alright, see you tomorrow!" I called to my friend after exiting the school. I turned around to leave when I bumped into a group of students that I didn't know. I quickly stepped back. "S-sorry!" I quickly apologized, hanging my head in embarrassment.
"No worries," a slightly deep yet gentle voice said. I looked up, and in the center of the group was a VERY handsome boy, probably my age, smiling at me. It had only been a few seconds, but I immediately began to like him. I smiled. "Okay."
"I'm Jeno, by the way," he said. "And these are my friends Renjun, Haechan, and Jaemin."

"Hey!" Renjun said happily.
"Hello~" Haechan sang in a unique voice which made me smile.
Jaemin winked and waved. "Yo," he said. I already knew he was a flirty guy.
I said hi and waved to all of his friends.
"So, what are you doing here? Do you need help getting somewhere?" Jeno asked. I shook my head, smiling.
"Nope! I'm just going home. How come?"  I asked. Jeno shrugged.

"You seemed like you were waiting for someone."

From the corner of my eye, I could see the other three boys staring at Jeno and I as we talked. I became suspicious, since Haechan began to smile at Jeno and make a face that could read "Jeno stop being stupid because I know you like her." I kind of blushed at that...? I don't know. But anyways, I smiled at Jeno. "Well, I should get going. My sister is home and I need to take her to her violin class." I turned to leave, but I felt a hand, which was quite warm, grab my wrist. I turn around slowly (ooOoOo DRaMaTiC-) and see Jeno right behind me, slightly red. Oh come on, I thought to myself. It hasn't even been a good 20 minutes and this guy is already falling for me. I blinked.

"Jeno?"

He blinked and quickly pulled his hand away. "S-sorry...I don't know why I did that..." He mumbled. Renjun smiled. "Awwww~ is Jeno embarrassed?" He said. Jeno glared at him. "Stoppppp!" He whined babyishly. I stared at them. They're weird.

But I giggled and they stopped arguing or whatever they were doing. And then I stopped giggling because they were looking at me.

Isn't my life weird?

Anyways, Jeno walked towards me, and I heard Jaemin and Haechan making some random bird mating noises in the background. I sighed. If they were to ever become my cousins it would be hell.

I get off topic too much.

Anyways, Jeno kept walking towards me, and I could feel my face burning up. We were suddenly a few inches too close to each other in the blink of an eye. I was at a loss for words. He was cute (this sounds cliche. Wow.)--like rEALLY cute. He just looked at me and smiled. I was too scared to say anything.

"Is it okay if I could meet you tomorrow then? Like, so we can walk to school or something?" He suddenly asked with his gentle voice again. I nearly screamed. But being the nice person I am, I kept that inside for when I got home, and grinned.

"Sure!"

Jeno grinned, his whole face lighting up. He seems really happy, I thought to myself.

I smiled back, and there was a moment of us just looking into each other's eyes, seeing the reflection of the park and the birds chirping and the flowers blooming because we were 15 days into spring....

"JENO! You'll marry her later! We need to go!" Jaemin said. I blushed and looked at Jaemin. He laughed. I gave him a "Watch tomorrow. I will slap your wig to Austria." look. And then he stopped laughing. And then I laughed. It was a very complicated process. Jeno rolled his eyes and said, "It's alright. They're just jealous." He winked and laughed after seeing my face turn bright red.

I laughed too, and looked at my phone. "Shoot, it's 3:21. I really need to go now. My sister is going to be late for her violin lesson if I don't hurry up!" I said. Jeno nodded.

"Okay~" He said. I smiled.

"See you tomorrow, Jeno!" I said and began walking down the street.

"See you tommorow!" He called back. "Wait! I-I never got your name! What is it?"

"(Y/N)."

"Oh. Okay! See you tommorow, (Y/N)!" He called again.

I smiled and kept walking.

That was a day I'd probably never forget, since he made me smile and feel extremely happy inside.
