Monika's POV

*sigh* I hate this place, why did I join the debate club in the first place, this class is BULLSHIT.

After Mom and Dad's death, things are really hard to cope with when I'm living with my Aunt that hates me...She just wants me to be like her, a lawyer with lots of responsibilities. But the thing is, she abuses me whenever I do something that she doesn't want me to do and that I should do EVERYTHING that she tells me to do.
"Useless child, your parents died all because of YOU!!!"

Tears start forming into my eyes. Why am I about to cry? This is a really bad time to cry. I quickly wipe my tears away and raise my hand, slowly.

"Yes Monika, what is it that you need to interrupt me at this time" Ms. Yumi says with an annoyed tone.

"I-I'm really sorry Ms. Yumi, m-may I please use the r-restroom..." I said with a really scared tone.

Ms. Yumi slams her ruler on my table and shouts, "YOUNG LADY, YOU DECIDE TO INTERRUPT CLASS TIME ALL BECAUSE OF THIS!!?? FIRST, THAT'S A NO, YOU MAY NOT, AND SECOND, DON'T EVER INTERRUPT CLASS WITH THAT TYPE OF QUESTION, THIS IS THE DEBATE CLUB AND YOU MUST LISTEN TO WHAT I SAY TO GET THROUGH LIFE, UNDERSTAND!!??"

"Yes Ma'am." I said confidently because I know she'll shout again if I stutter and get scared. Ms. Yumi is the debate club teacher, who is pretty much an asshole who thinks she knows everything in life.

"Good, now be quiet and listen to everything I say" Ms. Yumi says in her normal tone.

*Bell rings*

"Class dismissed, you may now leave" Ms. Yumi says the first time ever, she usually yells at us to stay until we're late to last period.

Fucking FINALLY, I can now leave this hellhole, I never want to come back here, good thing it's a Friday and I don't have to worry about this class in the weekend. Well, off to English class.
