First Date

Seto

Seto was currently pacing around his office. His first date - ever, not just with you - was in less than an hour. Why had he gone soft all of a sudden? He'd never really wanted to date anybody before you. So why were you so different? I don't have time for this. My date is in less than an hour. He checked his watch. I'm supposed to be there in... 47 minutes. That's enough time to at least change into something more casual and to mentally prepare myself a little more before I have to be there.

After he changed, Seto called the limo to pick him up in 30 minutes. He spent a lot more time pacing around. While he was doing this, Mokuba came into his office quietly, so he didn't even notice. That is, until Mokuba spoke.

"What are you doing, Seto?" Seto jumped a little, startled by the appearance of his little brother.

"Nothing." Seto replied, stopping and crossing his arms in the center of the office. Mokuba just smiled.

"Oookay then. I came to tell you that there's someone here to see you." Seto was confused, there were no appointments today.

"Well, whoever it is, they will wait until 14:30." Now it was Mokuba's turn to be confused.

"Are you going somewhere, big brother?"

"As a matter of fact, I am." And with that, Seto walked straight past his brother out of his office. He made his way to the limo; it was almost time to leave anyway. Getting into the car, he ordered the driver to drive to the cafe you'd agreed to meet at. When he got there, he gathered the last of his courage, stepped out of the limo, and entered the cafe. He spotted a (H/C)-haired woman sitting alone with an empty seat across from her. Am I late? Kaiba checked his watch. No, he was still a minute or two early. He stepped up to the counter, made his order, and sat down across from you. You already had a cup in your hand. Kaiba opened his mouth to say something, but closed it again.

I went over this a thousand times in my head. I can't get it right in real life? The tall man took a deep breath. You looked up to see his cheeks a bit flushed. This made you smile. You gathered your courage and...

"Hi Kaiba."

"Seto."

"What?"

"Call me Seto. That's my name... my first name." (A/N Anyone else sometimes forget while watching the show that this guy even has a first name? If not for Mokuba, I'd probably never remember.)

The conversation took off from there, but of course you were mostly the one doing the talking. He wouldn't admit it, but hearing your voice made Seto feel good. At the end of the date, he offered you a ride home and you gladly accepted. He had heard that the gentlemanly thing to do was walk you to your door, and did so. This gave you an idea.

"Hey Seto, bend over a little," you said, your cheeks turning a little red. Seto did so, seeming a little confused, and when he did, you pecked him on the cheek. He turned very red and looked very surprised. "You're so tall, it makes it hard to reach you." You ducked into the house, leaving your boyfriend very confused, but also very happy, on the porch.

A few days after Yugi asked you out, you got a text from him.

Are you free for lunch today? You smiled.

Sure, wanna meet at (restaurant)?

Sounds good see ya then

You got out of bed and changed out of your pajamas. Meanwhile, Yugi had gone to the pharaoh for some advice.
