In the rain Jughead's hair becomes one with his face, wetly draped over the bone structure that drives me crazy.
His expression is serious.
I wonder if he knows how crazy that drives me, how it makes me want to feel every inch of his skin.
At this moment, here in the busy town, carriages rushing past, townspeople watching our every move, we can't.
I pull his hand to stop him and move in front, toe to toe.
He rolls his eyes in that way he does when he's really happy but feeling too tough to show it and i know we shouldn't, but, we kiss.
The townspeople melt away, the rain too, and the moment is ours. For the kiss it's as if we've been transported somewhere heavenly and perhaps if it weren't for the cold Riverdale rain I might've believed we had.
His hand trailed up my waist and past my shoulders, leading to my face that he held ever so gently whilst his other hand did the same.
His touches made every vein in my body feel like a live wire.
I could vaguely hear the gasping and shouting but i didn't dare interrupt this beautiful moment.
His lips suddenly tear away from mine and he shouts profanities at someone. I almost fall over but catch myself quickly.
Two men, royal guards, have Jughead by the arms, half pulling half carrying him away.
"Archie!" he yells
"Jug!" i say grasping for him
The guard hits me over the head with something and i fall to the ground.
My eyesight blurred, but not because tears were welling up.
Everything became fuzzy; then I saw nothing at all.
My consciousness was floating through an empty space filled with a thick static. Throughout the inky space my heartbeats pounded loudly, echoing in my ears, alongside Jughead's fading pleas for help.
Feeling in my body drained away until finally all was black and the last thought i could muster was the tall, raven haired boy with emerald green eyes before everything was tossed into abyss.
