Something bad can be good

Their thoughts were interrupted by a doorbell and some soft knocks in the door. The boys looked at each other cautiously before Dylan got up carefully. However, before he could go any further the blonde held his hand tightly back.

"Who is that?"

"Don't worry Darling, it's probably the people who will check up on us,"

Oh how wrong he was.

Dylan walked to the door slowly whilst Thomas went to check up on the girls. The brunette frowned as he didn't see anyone through the small hole in the door.

He was about to walk away believing that it was just someone trying to do a prank, but a voice from the outside stopped him.

He could feel his eyebrows frown deeper as he turned back around. Unlocking the door slowly, he peaked through the gap looking around.

The sight made his eyes widen so much he thought they would pop out of their sockets.

Right outside the door, stood two young girls. Shivering, hugging each other like it was their last hope.

The older girl looked at the brunette, her blue eyes held fear and hope as she held the younger girl to her chest.

The brunette wasted no time and opened the door and crunched down in front of the girls.

"Hi, how can I help you?"

Dylan whispered softly trying to push the concern in his voice down as he waited for the girls to answer.

"Our step mum kicked us out of our home,"

The brunette gasped slightly as he heard the girl whisper. He saw how her painful expression filled her small face. He felt sadness overcome him as he tried to remain calm.

Who could do such a thing? Especially with the storm being so bad.

"Would like to come on? I can make you some hot chocolate?"

Dylan smiled softly as the girls nodded carefully. The brunette got up to his feet and held out his hand. The girl hesitated but soon placed her small hand into his as they walked inside.

Walking into the apartment, Dylan helped them to sit in the dinning room. He noticed the youngest of the two not letting go off the other any time. Dylan felt sorry for the poor girls. They must be so scared.

The brunette kneeled down next to one of the chairs where the girls sat and smiled.

"Would you mind telling me your names?"

"I'm Juliet and this is my little sister Livvy, short for Olivia,"

Dylan smiled and reached his hand out which Juliet gladly accepted.

"Hello Juliet, I'm Dylan,"

The girl smiled and giggled making Dylan smile as he turned to face the small girl. He carefully took her hair out her eyes and put it behind her ear.
