I promise....

Lights,

Voices,

Footsteps,

A door slamming.....

I was in between seeing things and hearing things, it was all mushed together.

I eventually gained my senses and realised I was in a room which only consisted of a bed and a chair in the corner, I knew this room too well.

It was my room in the asylum....

"LET ME OUT!" I jumped up from the bed and pounded on the door which, unsurprisingly was locked.

There was nothing but silence as a response.

"THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS FUCKING ANSWER ME!" I screamed.

The a little window in the door opened enough just so I could see a male nurse,

"Now you know I am not going to let you out it you keep screaming like that" he scolded.

"So if I am quiet you will let me out?" I asked hopefully.

"Nope" he answered, closing the window again.

"WELL FUCK YOU TOO!" I shouted, it was no use anyway.

I had to get out, not only could I not stand this place, but I had a tour to finish!

I am not going to rot in here just because the don't believe my story.

The rain poured endlessly, but right now I didn't care.

It doesn't matter if I'm dying of pnemonia, I just have to keep her safe and warm!

After hours of searching I glanced down at the infant in my arms, she left out a little cough.

She was deathly pale and shivering immensly.

I pulled her closer to me, though my soaked clothes wouldn't shelter her anyway.

I huddled against a wall and slid down to a sitting position, still clinging to her.

She coughed again but this time, there was blood, and she wouldn't stop.

"No, no please stay with me!" I cried.

I gasped when I felt someone shaking me, "Get up" the male nurse ordered before leaving my room.

I sat up and groaned in pain, I must of fallen asleep on the floor, I am definetly regretting it now!

I stood and walked to the familiar white hallway, where I saw other mildly unstable people wander.

The staff let some of the patients out for a certain amount of time a day and luckily I qualified for that luxury.

There was only a small, old fashioned t.v, a radio and a bookshelf with a few chairs and couches.

"Look who is back" Nancy, a girl who loved to torment everyone even though she should be mature at the age of 37. I guess being mad screws with your morals.

I ignored her and sat on a chair closest to the barred window, waiting for us to be called for breakfast.

I snapped from my thoughts when I was roughly dragged upwards by my arm.

"What the Hell?" I hissed, glaring at that nurse again.

"You have a visitor" was all he said.

I had never been to the visitors room, because no one had bothered to visit.

I saw Luke, fidgiting awkwardly in his seat behind a glass barrier.

To explain the room, it was like a prison visiting room, where you had to talk through a phone.

I was pushed into the chair by that shithead before I quickly picked up the phone.

"Luke!" he picked up his phone, smiling at me through the barrier.

"Are you ok? Why are you here?" he asked, now frowning.

"I'm fine, I don't have time to explain. Where is Ashton?"

a look of hurt crossed his face when I mentioned Ashton but he replied anyway,

"He is trying to find a way to get you out with the other boys" he said quietly.

"Any solutions yet?" I sighed when he shook his head as an answer.

"I promise, we will have you out by tonight at the least" he assured me.

"And at the most?" I gulped when he didn't answer.

"You won't be here for long" he promised again.

"Yeah, whatever" I scoffed.

He looked to his side to see a guard on his side giving him the time signal.

"I gotta go ok but you will be out of here soon" he smiled, before putting the phone back in its holder.

I waved goodbye before letting shithead drag me to the eating room for some disgusting lumps of food.
