Under His Command

Chapter 3

I opened my eyes and found myself on top of the police car. It occurred to me that i wasn't even wearing my seat belt. As my vision became clear i could see flashing lights.

I climbed off the car and went to the passenger's seat to get my backpack. I carried this backpack like a baby.

My $200.00 is in here and if anything happened to it i would be a dead woman walking. I opened my backpack and searched for my phone.

As i opened my phone i had 5 miss calls from my mom. Okay now I'm really in trouble. Should I call her back and let her know I'm okay? Nah I'll just wait for her anger to cool off.

As I was walking down the side of the road I heard sirens. I quickly hid behind a tree. I heard the police car stop. I remained still and held my breath.

The officer came down and started walking toward the tree. Oh No not again i cant go to jail especially now since i have all those charges on my name.

I looked around the sky seemed to be growing dark. In the distance i could hear the crunch of the dead grass made by the police officer.

As i tried to remain still the police officer's voice boomed through the evening air.

"Get on the ground now!!!" said the police officer

i didn't move a muscle. "Get on the ground now!!!"said the police officer. I tried to get on the ground but my body was frozen like an ice sculpture.

As I started to move I heard gunshots. I knew this was the end but i couldn't let it be that way.

I still had so much to accomplish like get married, have kids, and someday own my own casino where i won't get arrested for gambling or being under aged.

I quickly snapped out of my dream to face reality. Here i was about to be shot to death if i didn't get on the ground. I did as i was told and got on the ground,

A smile quickly spread across my face as an idea popped into my head. It wasn't a good one, but i had to try i couldn't get arrested now i've come too far.

As the police officer came behind the tree. He grabbed my arms. As he tried to handcuff me My plan quickly went into action. I pushed him into the tree and he stumbled and hit his head hard on the tree trunk.

I grabbed my backpack and got into the police car. A cold shiver went down my spine as I remembered the events that happened a couple hours ago.

I put my seat belt on and started driving. After a while the police computer beeped. I looked at the screen and my stomach turned in my body as i saw my face all over the news.
