Chapter 16 (All of me)

I was laying on my bed writing lyrics to a new song I had written. It's about Shawn.

"They could give me everything

I put my pencil down and re-read the chorus. It completely described the way I felt about Shawn. Nothing could stop me from feeling the way I do about him. I would run a thousand miles I he told me to. I started to hum the tune right when my bedroom door flung open scaring the crap out of me. I let out a faint gasp and dropped my song book when I saw who was at the door. It was him. He had all of his filming equipment with him too. before he could, I grabbed the notebook from off the ground so quickly that if you blinked, you would've missed it.

"What was that?" He asked instead of saying hello

"So what are you doing here?" I changed the subject. I reached out to help him with the stuff but he walked past me into my room ignoring my offer.

"I was wondering I we could sing another duet together but this time it could be for your Youtube channel." he said as he set up all the light and the microphone.

"Yeah, sure. What song?" I ask as I move the keyboard in front of the camera.

"Maybe, All of me by John Legend?"

I nodded and say by the piano while he got his guitar out and tuned it before he finally started to record.

"Hey guys, I'm Melissa Rivera"

"And I'm Shawn Mendes."

"And today we'll be doing a cover of All of me by John Legend."

Both Shawn and I took a deep breath as I played out the first few chords to the song.
