You sit alone in the restaurant. You look around you, it was if people knew you were a mutant. The looks they gave to were just horrible. Everyone had someone to sit with, you heard people laughing, talking to each other. And you, you were sitting alone. A tear rolls down your face. "Excuse me? Can I take your order?", a waitress asks. "Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't really paying attention". "What's the matter dear?"  "Let's just say my parents don't accept me for who I am. And just soup for me please". "Oh honey, things will get better eventually.", she comforts you. "Thanks. You're very kind". "It's the least I can do for you. So just soup?", she asks. "Yes, thank you.", you say and get lost in your thoughts again. "Is this seat taken?, a voice says. You look up and see a young gentleman, around 25 years old you estimate. Sky blue eyes look into yours. "No this seat is free.", you say looking down. Waiting for him to take the chair with him, he sits across from you. You look up suprised. "I'm sorry, I saw you walked away from home. I feel sorry for you, and I'd like to help you". "The only person that could help me right now is Charles Xavier.", you say, poiting at an article about him in the newspaper you're reading. "Oh him. He helps those mutants right?", the man asks. "Yes, that guy. He's the only one I need right now". "You sound very desperate for him. What if I told you, that I am Charles Xavier". You look up at him, and now you realise it too. "I'm here to help you, Y/N. We are here for you". You can't believe it, you finally found the guy you've been searching for for weeks. Well, he found you. "How do you know my name?", you ask confused. "Some people don't know this, but I don't only help mutants, I am one myself. My mutation gives me the ability to read your mind. That's how I found out you were here". "Your soup.", the waitress says and puts your soup in front of you. "I'll pay it for you.", Charles says. "Thank you so much, really, I can thank you enough.", you say, tears in your eyes.

After you finish your soup, Charles takes you to the mansion. You look around, you see all young mutants your age. Charles calls the other mutants together, and introduces them to you. There was one young lady, just a few years older then you, with beautiful blonde curls. The rest of the group consists of only guys, three also your age, and one who also looked older than you. They all introduced themselfs to you, showing of their powers. You knew that you had to show yours one time too. "So, what can you do?", Raven asks. "I erm... I can feel other peoples' emotions, no matter how good you hide it, and I can influence them. And if I'm extremely sad, angry, or any emotion at all, things happen. Bad things". "Tell them what happened this morning.", Charles suggests. For a moment you forgot he could read your mind. "My mom... She... There was something on the news about mutants and she felt like sharing her hate with me. I got mad, and everything started shaking.", you say, tear starting to appear in your eyes. "She didn't want me anymore. I felt it". The spoon in your cup of tea you were holding started to shake. You couldn't stand it anymore. You try to breathe normal but you couldn't, trying to hold back the tears. More things started shaking around you. "Y/N, listen to me, try to calm down.", Charles whispers in your ear. "How can I ever be loved if I am so dangerous!", you shout and walk away, not wanting to harm anyone.
