As we walked through the forest the mossy ground crunched underneath our feet. "No wonder the knights caught you y/n, I could of probably heard you from a mile off" he joked. I laughed sarcastically. In the distance, a small wooden shack started to emerge. Granny's. I stood at the door hesitantly and knocked. As the wooden door freaked open granny stood in the door way. A huge smile lit up on her face as she saw me. She wasn't really my granny. Everybody called her that, I don't even remember why.
"Y/n, dear I haven't seen you in ages" she exclaimed. "It's only been a week" I laughed. As she gestured for me to come in I sat on one of her chairs. I placed my bow against the table, along with my arrows. Levi placed his knives on the table. Granny looked in from the kitchen and noticed Levi's knives. "No weapons on the table now." she said with a nod. I laughed as Levi removed his knives from the table top. As me and Levi spoke we could smell the food cooking in the kitchen. It smelled delicious.
About ten minutes later Granny walked in with two steaming plates of lasagne and two hot cups of cocoa. As she placed the cocoa down I was about to ask my usual request when she raised a hand. "I'll go get the cinnamon now. " she smiled.
Once we had eaten our meals we thanked granny and headed off into the forest, making our way to the Charming's castle.
