Hello! I am excited to start this story, I hope you're equally excited to read it! Now, I've only watched volume 1 through 4, so don't expect anything from volume 5. And I think I'm gonna start this off after a mission that went horribly wrong. I hope you enjoy!
I clutched my side as I turned a sharp corner, stumbling into what seems to be an alleyway.
I pushed myself as far as I could against the wall, if I got spotted by the Grimm that was chasing me... I would surely die.
"Ha ha, death... I know that word all too well..." I started to cough violently, cursing the Grimm that hit me.
Once they all passed, I hid behind some nearby crates. Giving a breathe of relief as I finally got to sit down, but also grunting and flinching from the pain.
How did this even happen, I thought this mission would be easy...
I froze in place holding my breathe as my ears twitched at the sounds of grimm footsteps.
'Stay calm, stay cool.' I was praying it wouldn't turn down the alleyway and find me.
I heard it snarl and walk towards me. Once I heard the footsteps grow closer, I lost hope. I can't fight in this condition, no one is here to save me, I'm gonna die here... without even telling her I love her...
The creature's head was about to turn the corner of the crate but, as if on cue, Weiss was there in a heart beat; kicking the monster's ass.
I let my head fall backwards on the crate as I looked up at the sky. Taking in its beauty and appreciating life.
But my thoughts of appreciation were interrupted as a different beauty leaned over to look at me.
"My knight in shining armor, oh how grateful I am to see you." I said mockingly, trying to get a reaction out of her.
She was always cute when she was flustered.
But instead of getting what I had hoped for, I got a worried look instead... that was very new. It almost scared me.
I started coughing violently again, which, in turn, caused more blood to come up.
From the amount of blood that I've lost, I started getting dizzy and lightheaded.
Weiss shook her head as she rounded the box and picked me up.
"Wow, you're a lot stronger than I expected." I smiled weakly at Weiss, she still hasn't said a word to me.
I coughed a bit more, which caused Weiss to look at me.
"Blake..."
"Weiss, I'll be fine... I... p-pro-"
My held fell backwards as I passed out.
"Blake? Blake! Don't you dare give up on me... you hear me! Wake up, Blake!... please... don't let go...I love you."
I barely caught what she said, but those words filled me with more confidence than anything before.
Don't worry Weiss, I'm not going anywhere.
I still love you.
