Chapter Two: Master Minds

(Tony's POV)

"Where is the Argo II right now Leo?" I asked as I put the Iron Man suit on.

"I'm actually not sure. Sorry. What's your name?" He answered.

Now that I thought about it I had never actually said my name had I? Well not telling him my name won't do any good.

"My name is Tony Stark, I'm a millionaire genius robot builder. Would you like anything to drink? Come on we can talk about everything over some pizza." If I'm friendly maybe he'll show me how to get onto the warship so I can destroy it..

I took my Iron Man suit off.

We walked up the stairs and found Pepper Pots my manager waiting for us. "Tony, Nick Fury has scheduled a meeting on Saturday afternoon at-" she started to say but stopped and said "Who is this?" Looking at Leo.

"This is Leo Valdez, my new friend. I found him when he walked through the front door. He says he's an inventor. Now Pepper could you give us a minute? We have something to discuss."

Pepper looked at me then at Leo then at me again. "Yes, of course I'm going to bed now anyway. Goodnight. "

I looked over at Leo. If this boy was serious he could help me save Greece from whatever that warship was going to do. I'd have to be clever though because Leo built the Argo II. I would have to watch for guards to.. I'll think about it later. I sat down and Leo sat across from me. I pulled out the pizza and two cokes.

(Leo's POV)

Tony Stark seemed like a nice person. He had the most amazing building although he seemed like he was up to something. I would have to figure out what he was up to. "So Mr. Stark-"

"Oh no please call me Tony."

"Ok Tony, why does the Argo II matter to you so much? You kept asking where it was and how it got there." I asked suspiciously

"Listen, I'm a superhero and I save people...you just told me there was a giant warship flying to Greece. What's it gonna do?" He responded.

Dang it! I shouldn't have told him about anything. Now he knows that's there is a giant warship flying to Greece. Oh man! Play it cool Leo just tell him what they are going to do then he might not help.

" Okay I'll tell you the whole story. Sit down and grab some more pizza. So I am Leo Valdez I'm a demigod okay? My father is Hephaestus the god of fire and crafts. I have these friends...." And so I told him all about how we were on our way to destroy Gaea.

After I was done talking he stopped and stared at me for a little while. Then he drank the rest of his coke. "Looks like you kids can do it yourself. But if you need any back up just call me." He paused after saying that and said, "Wait why aren't you with them? Did you get lost or something?"

Then I told him about how I had gotten lost in the big city and told them to leave without me. He looked at me again and then said, "Well that was stupid. Your the captain of the Argo II right? They need you what if they crashed and you never even knew about it. This Gaea thing could be destroying Greece right now!"

They might be coming back for me though. I had never thought of what Tony was saying. What if he was right? "They'll be okay. Trust me." I knew with Percy and Jason they would be fine.

(Tony's POV)

I hope this ends well. Gaea needs to be destroyed from the sounds of it. This kid better be right about what he's saying or Greece is in big trouble. In fact the whole world might be in trouble. I looked at the clock "12:37" is what I read.

"Leo, do you need a place to sleep?" I asked. I showed Leo to his room and told him he could stay as long as he needed. He thanked me and fell asleep fast. I walked down to were Pepper and I slept. I got into bed and fell asleep almost instantly.

"Good morning, Mr. Stark. Would you like some coffee?" Jarvis asked me. I opened my eyes and looked around. What happened last night? Oh yeah that kid...Leo? Yes! Leo that was his name. Um..and Gaea oh yes right! Mother Nature is going to attack Greece. Got it.

"What time is it?" I asked to Jarvis. Pepper was already awake so it must be past eight o'clock.

"It's nine o'clock. Coffee sir?"Jarvis responded.

"Skip the coffee Jarvis. What am u suppose to do today? "

"Nick Fury-" even as Jarvis said I knew exactly what I had forgotten to do. "Is coming to talk to you to about the avengers sir. He'll be here around noon." Jarvis finished.

I got out of bed and put on casual clothes. What am I gonna do? I had completely forgotten about this. I brushed me teeth and went down stairs. Leo and Pepper were talking about who knows what. Maybe I should ask Leo his opinion on this avengers thing he seems pretty smart.

"Tony, Nick Fury-" Pepper started.

"Is coming at noon I know." I finished her sentence. "I need to talk to Leo alone again." I told Pepper. I couldn't tell her about the avengers and I'm not suppose to tell anyone but I need someone's opinion and this kid said he invented a warship so I'm gonna ask him.

Pepper nodded her head "Alright, I'll be at the cafe down the street." I waited until she left the house to talk to him. He was sitting on the couch so I sat down.

"So I need your opinion on something. But I'm not suppose to tell anyone so don't tell anyone I told you about this okay?"

"Ok. Got it." He answered.

"So there's this thing called avengers. Right? And I was asked to join. Avengers is basically superheroes that save the world. I'm not sure if I want to join or not. What do you think?" I said.

"Why don't you want to join?" He asked curiously.

"Well, I need to protect Pepper." I answered him.

"Well if you join..your protecting Pepper and so many other people. And dude you get to meet superheroes! I say go for it." He responded.

He was right. By joining the avengers I was protecting Pepper and everyone else. It was almost noon. Nick fury would be here soon and I would have an answer for him this time.

Sorry this chapter wasn't that exciting but the next chapter will be I promise. Also sorry I said I would have this out on Wednesday but that didn't happen. So instead I'll be posting every Saturday. The next chapter will be better. Thanks for reading this guys.
