Chapter 33: Feelings

Caitlin POV

Once we got to Nicks place, Shawn was sitting there on the porch. I was very intensely in a game of flappy bird while they were talking.

"Dammit!" I yell as I just killed the bird.

Nick and Shawn look at me.

"Sorry.." I apologize.

Shawn POV

"Sorry.." Caitlin apologized.

She's so adorable.

"Uhm excuse us." Nick says as he shoves me away and unlocks his door so they can go inside.

"Uh Nick? Isn't it kinda rude to not invite Shawn inside?" I hear Caitlin whisper over his shoulder.

Nick sighs, "would you like to come in, Shawn?" He says, sounding annoyed.

"Sure." I reply and go inside.

Once we all got settled inside we sat in the living room.

Minutes passed and no one has said a word.

"Sooo.. should we watch a movie?" Caitlin suggests.

"Sure." Nick sighs.

"You guys can pick whatever, I don't care." I say, actually not caring what they pick.

"Let's watch something scary, I'm sure there's a  movie Shawn is scared of." Nick says looking pissed.

"Nope." I say confidently.

"Caitlin, you pick." Nick says looking at her.

"No surprise me." She grins.

Soon Nick chose a movie and put it in the DVD player.

With Caitlin in the middle, Nick on her left and myself on her right, things were kinda awkward.

A scary scene came on, Caitlin screeched in fear and grabbed my arm. Her soft small hands holding onto me gave me chills.

I look down at her, I see her glossy eyes looking  at the TV screen in fright. I look back up at the movie and a small smirk creeps up on my face.

Thoughts go through my head, this is what it would be like if she was mine. Why do I want her so badly? I don't understand.

Are these what they call feelings?

Nick POV

I look over and see Caitlin has grabbed Shawn's arm.

I let out a slight sigh.

She will be mine, Shawn cannot have her. He wouldn't treat her the way she should be.

He can't have her, he WONT have her. Time for some planning. Well after the movie.

Shawn POV

The movie soon ended and I noticed Caitlin fell asleep. She looked so beautiful sitting there, cuddling my arm so peacefully.

Nick stood up to turn off the TV and said, "I think you should leave, Caitlin can stay here with me."

I look up at him, "No she's not staying here with you, God knows what you'd do." I sternly said.

"Instead, I'm taking her home." I told him, no emotion on my face.

"Fine, but you better watch your back Shawny boy. It would be terrible if something happened to you." He threatened.

"Yeah I'll be sure of it." I said in a sarcastic tone.

I picked Caitlin up and walked out of Nicks house. I laid her down in the back seat of my Jeep and got into the car myself. After a few minutes of driving she woke up.

"Shawn?" She asked in her cute sleepy voice.

"Yes?" I quickly look at her and back to the road.

"I don't want to go home." She said, sounding upset.

"Oh okay.. where do you want to go?" I asked softly.

"Anywhere where there's somewhere to sleep, I'm tired."

"Okay, hang on"

"Shawn?" She said.

"Yeah?" I look back at her in the mirror.

"Thank you." She says looking back at me.

"Anything for you."

I soon drive up to my house and get out of the car. I go to open the door for Caitlin and notice she fell asleep again. I smile to myself and pick her up bridle style.

I unlock my door, hoping not to drop her.

I get in and close the front door. I take her up to my room and gently lay her down on my bed. I take her shoes off so she can sleep comfortably.

I was about to leave the room till I heard a little voice beckoning my name.

"Shawn?"

I turn around to see Caitlin's eyes open staring at me.

"What is it?" I ask.

"Can you stay here?" She softly said.

"Uhm.. sure." I stutter.

I go over to lay next to her, she stares at me with those deep blue eyes of hers.

"Thank you for bringing me here, I couldn't go back home." She sighs.

"It's okay, you're welcomed here anytime." I said looking back in her eyes.

She lightly smiles. I notice her looking at something else a bit lower than my eyes.

She gently lays her hand on my cheek and leans.

Our lips touch.

It feels like lightning is traveling through my veins.

I kiss her back after I realize what she's doing. I cup her cheek with my hand to deepen the kiss.

She slightly pulls away with a tiny smile across her face.

"I love you, Shawn." She whispers and slowly drifts off to sleep.

Heyo, sorry I haven't updated in.. well FOREVER. I just really haven't had time nor motivation. I've also been trying to figure myself out as a person, which is no treat. But I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and I'll make sure to start updating more often! (I know I've said that idk how many times but this time I mean it.)
