Darleen woke up one morning. "Rising 5th grader", she said. "Wednesday! The day school starts back! its only tomorrow!", she smiled. "Can't wait to see Angie again! I've missed her all summer long!", Darleen yawned a bit. Her mom, Alyssa opened the door slowly, "Morning, Honey!", she yawned. "I have some good news and some.. well.. bad news..", she looked like she didn't want to spit it out. "what is it? We aren't giving Flower away are we?", Darleen got out of bed and began to brush her hair. "of course not! The bad news is that we're moving. But the good news is that there are lots of neighbors to hangout with.", Her mom was chewing on her finger nails. "WHAT!?", Darleen screamed. "what about Angie and Aiden? What about Ms.Margaret?" Alyssa sighed, "sorry Darleen, but we have to. The bills on this house are to expensive just for this small place. Besides, You need to experience a new living besides the city." Darleen was confused. "are we moving to the country? with the real country folks?", Darleen's eyes widened. "yep!", her mother yelled. "pack your bags! I better go pack mine!"

Once they got everything packed they moved in their fabulous van. They traveled for more than Darleen could handle. She was home sick already.

Soon they arrived. Darleen stared at a large wooden cabin. "wow", she said.

She saw the neighbors next door. They screamed and ran into there cabins. "I knew it!" yelled Darleen. "I'm "INVISIBLY FABULOUS" "

It was Friday Morning. Darleen had already got her room situated. She had a pretty rose in a yellow vase on her night stand, following a neon purple lamp. Her big floor mirror had daisies tied in the corners. They were prettier than a pink pearl necklace. "I love flowers", Darleen said as she sniffed the fresh air. She grabbed her Great Granny's old necklace that she had gave her when she was five. She really missed her granny. She passed away when Darleen was seven. Now Darleen is ten. On September twenty-six she will turn eleven. She dusted her cheeks with pink blush. She put on brown eye shadow. Then tiptoed outside, since her mom slept in. It was 12:30 PM! kids were already playing outside. A girl with pigtail and a cowgirl hat pointed at Darleen, "City girl! Run for your life!" She ran and a younger boy and girl followed. "Wait!", Darleen yelled. "I just want to play!" They younger looked at her older sister, "City girls play?" "of course!" Darleen laughed. She pointed to the ball the young boy was holding, "Want to play catch?" "Sure!", shouted the older girl. "By the way, I'm Jackie.  I'm ten years old. That's Annie over there, she's five. And that's Jack. He is seven.", she smiled.

Then Darleen and Jackie suddenly knew they were going to be best friends!
