Chapter 5

Previously on 'You Against The World':

You sighed in relief and right as you were about to teleport yourself, the pile of rubble flew from the door and when the dust cleared, there were the so called "Avengers". You tilted your head back and groaned.

You stood up straight and cracked your neck and knuckles. "Let's get this over with." You levitated a bit and ignited your hands and the room in flames. 

You shot fire at everyone, making them all jump back or roll out of the way. Arrow guy and gun girl rolled behind you and shot at you. You quickly created a force field around yourself, shielding yourself from the arrows and bullets. You turned around and faced the two attackers. You lifted your hand at them and they were both thrown back by your force. There was so much force, they flew through the wall and outside.

You turned around looking at the group of stunned foes. "Who's next?"

Glowy girl stepped up and her hands started to glow even more. You scoffed and rolled your eyes quickly. "Let's get this over with."

She levitated a bit to be the same height as you and you both flew at each other. You dodged her hand that came at you and changed one hand from fire to ice. You shot ice at her as she turned around. She made an X with her arms and somehow blocked your attack. Your breathe hitched for a second and Spangled man took the opportunity and tackled you from the side.

You toppled out of the air and he held on to you as you struggled to get out of his grip. He held your hands behind your back and gripped your wrists strongly, refusing to let go.

He stood you up and you faced the so called 'Avengers' with anger. You were to busy glaring at the 'Avengers', you didn't notice Spangled man bound your wrists with rope until you felt him tighten it to the point where it burned. He shoved you in front of the group and there you faced the whole team. Gun girl and arrow guy were pretty banged up and you smirked at your work. Spangled man spoke up.

"You're too dangerous and reckless. You need proper training on how to control yourself and your powers. We'll take you to S.H.E.I.L.D and you'll become an Avenger after some training."

You smirked and looked Spangled and grinned menacingly. "I'll join you when all hell breaks loose."

With that, before anyone could tell what was happening, you created a small tornado around yourself and while they were distracted, you teleported to the safe house.

Steve's POV

When the dust cleared, they were gone. Tony walked up to me and asked, "You put that tracker on her, right?"

"Of course I did."

"So Fury will talk to her?"

"I hope so. She really is special."

Y/N's POV

You opened your eyes and sighed in relief when you realized that your diversion had worked. You were in the safe house with only a couple of cuts and bruises. You were about to touch your face to check the cut on your face but you couldn't since your hands were tied behind your back. You sighed and snapped your hands and the rope disappeared. You looked around, rubbing your wrists and walked over to your parent's bodies.

A single tear slid down your cheek as you looked at their cold, pale figures. You held back a sob, knowing that even though you were gifted, you'd never be able to bring them back. You just couldn't. 

Just thinking about using your powers tired you out. Exhaustion finally hit you and you collapsed. You crawled over to the nearest couch and just laid there. You used your powers way to much today and it was finally hitting you. You let yourself lose conscious and drift into sleep.

Hey Guys! Sorry this chapter is really short. I'm not feeling the greatest and there's something wrong with my leg but the doctors don't know what yet. So I'll hopefully be able to update soon but I can't promise anything. I hope you guys liked this chapter! Stay in tune for the next one!
