A couple days later ....

I was at the grocery store looking around.. getting some stuff for the house & for my mom while she was at work , & I also wanted to cook cause I was getting tired of takeout

My phone vibrated & I looked down from a face time call from Joseph , I swiped the green button before seeing his face all in the camera " what Joseph " I replied as I grabbed some stuff off the shelf

" you almost done " he asked impatiently , I rolled my eyes as I continued walking down the isle
" it would be much better if you & Zaire lazy asses came in & helped me instead of sitting in the car " I argued back as I looked at some cake ingredients debating on what I should make for dessert

" well hurry your ass up & those is Zaire's words not mine " joseph laughed as i rolled my eyes again before grabbing a couple of cake mix & cookie mix

" well tell Zaire ass he can wait " I said with sass as I continued down the isle making sure I had everything , Joseph repeated what I said before Zaire took the phone " hurry up before I leave you I'm tryna go lay down " Zaire whined

" you not finna do anything but try to see what I'm cooking now get off my phone " I said as Joseph started laughing

" carter I will beat your ass " Zaire laughed , " bye BYEEE ❗ " I shouted as I hung up before making my way to the front to pay for what I got after that short process I pushed the basket outside towards Zaire's car

These 2 dudes was staring at me as I walked past their vehicle to get to Zaire's " Took you long enough " Joseph said as he rolled down the window " One shut up , two Zaire can you please pop the trunk open " I said as I reached them

Zaire opened the trunk before getting out to help me , I walked towards the trunk & opened it before putting the groceries in there " Aye , aye black shirt " someone shouted

I looked up & it was one of the dudes who was watching me " Yes ? " I replied as I stared at him " My homie wanna holler at you " he said pointing to his friend next to him

" For what ? " I asked with an attitude ,
" he just wanna get your number " he chuckled but I didn't find anything amusing 😐 " Y'all must be tripping or something y'all really finna talk to my shorty in front of my face " Zaire said as he walked up behind me

" yeah this me so take y'all ass on " Zaire said as he started helping me put the rest of the groceries up the dude scoffed before cranking up his car " what you got something to say ? " Zaire stopped & asked

" yeah I'm just making sure these niggas ain't got some type of problem " Zaire said as he shut his trunk " damn so you fucking both these niggas " the dude said making me give him a stank look
