Angry souls screamed as their torments continued, it won't be long, was the only thing they thought of. This plan has been being made for centuries, the beings in the fields of punishment were done with this torment. One soul, though, was set on what it was going to do once its soul returned to the mortal world. It was going to get revenge on Perseus Jackson.

Although their souls will be brought back to the mortal world, they will have no bodies to host, so they will just be there, not able to be seen. They didn't care. They were forever restless until they get revenge on the ones that sent them there, or the ones that torment them. Not the real them, but a different version of them. Many want to kill Perseus Jackson, get revenge, but they listened to only one person, and Perseus was his.

Hours later when their tortures were done with for the day, they met up to discuss.

"Sir, when do we depart?" A nonchalant shell of a man asked. This man got exactly what he deserved, everyone agreed. They all got what they deserved, whether they see what they did wrong or not.

"Now." The leader growled viscously. The souls around him flinched. This man was the definition of scary, and he has been waiting 6 years for this, not as long as others, maybe, but he wanted revenge. He doesn't know if this will change his punishment, he doesn't even know if he wants it to change. Does he want revenge for the fun of it? Or does he want it cause he died to young for his liking? Does he want it cause he thought he deserved this chance?

They went with their plan, knocking out the skeleton guards, don't know how, but they did. They snuck around until they were finally at the exit of their hell.

"If Hades or his spawn find any of you, do not let them know where I am! If you do, I'll be the one torturing you in the fields of punishment, got it?" The man threatened. Most people would think that he wouldn't hurt a hair on his head, without being drunk, he looks nice enough, but if you truly known him, you would fear for your life every moment you are even a mile close to him. If you don't know him, you are lucky.

Hades straightened. He felt something was wrong with the field of punishment. He growled as his suspicions were correct, the ghosts were escaping. He's had a feeling that something would happen with the souls, but there is no way that he knows that they could escape. He would have to talk to Athena, right now, he could just talk to his son.

"Nico!" He called out. His son walked out of the shadows, and if no longer freaked Hades out. That's kinda how his siblings and everyone around him thought.

"Yes father?" Nico asked politely. Nico stood completely still in the presence of his father, not out of fear or anything, but out of pure respect. Hades nodded towards him.

"I would like for you to inform camp half blood and camp Jupiter that some of the souls have escaped from the fields of punishment, but also ensure them that they can't harm anyone." Hades informed. Nico's eyes went wide in shock.

"I thought it was impossible for spirits to escape! I've only heard of monsters coming back from Tartarus." Nico wondered partly to himself. He looked up at his father, as if asking for an answer.

"I'll have to consult Athena about this. We need to find out how to get these spirits back." Hades informed and flashed away.
