She hated them, she hated all of them. She knew they weren't real, but they wouldn't go away. Amber hated every monster she saw, they were all different. Some had blood pouring from their eyes and large claws, while others seemed harmless, only to turn into terrifying beasts. Amber never saw the same monster twice, well, almost. There was one creature she always saw, but only when she walked through the forest to clear her head.

This creature always had bright red fur and seemed to walk on two legs most of the time. It scared Amber every time she saw it. It seemed to follow her until she left the boundary between the forest and her small town. She decided to venture into the forest today to find out more about the creature that followed her. Amber was roughly in the middle of the forest when she saw the creature emerge from the trees.

"Who are you?" amber managed to blurt out in a shaky, nervous tone. "Why don't you get out of my head, like the other monsters?" she yelled out, extremely frightened. "I don't know what I am, but feel free to call me whatever you want" the creature replied in a soft but deep, masculine voice. The creature then walked up to Amber and looked down at her, due to it being quite a bit taller than Amber. She frowned "answer my question, why won't you get out of my head?!" Amber was becoming frustrated, but remained as calm as possible in fear of angering the creature.

"The reason I don't get out of your head is because I'm not in there to begin with..." there was something about the tone of the creature's voice that sent a chill down Amber's spine. "What are you trying to say here?" Amber replied in a concerned tone. The creature didn't reply for a few minutes before letting out a quiet sigh and replying "what I'm trying to say is, I'm not in your head... I'm real" amber thought about this for a few minutes, before blurting out "do you have a name?"

The creature sighed and crossed their arms "no, I don't have a name, but you can call me anything you want I guess" the creature then poked out their neon green tongue in a snake like fashion before retreating into the trees, keeping in touch with amber every time she ventured into the forest.
