Frank didn't have a car.
He wished he did.
He was one of the only kids in his college that didn't have a car, and it made him feel like an outcast.

Gerard has a Jaguar E Type convertible.
His dad, who is obsessed with old cars, gave it to him for his 18th birthday.
He loved his car, but longed for someone to share it with.

Frank walked down his street, just like he did every morning, watching the cars pass, making a mental note of every make of car he saw.

Then, one caught his eye.

Not only because it was beautifully vintage, like something out of a cheesy 80s romcom, but because its driver had stopped the car, and was looking back at Frank.

Then he saw who it was.

Gerard, the boy with the white hair.

Frank had gotten used to seeing him around at college, considering they were on the same course, but seeing the boy outside of the halls seemed strange.

But he liked it.

"Hey, Iero!" Gerard called out, a friendly smile on his face. Frank quickened his pace to reach the car quicker, and admired its shiny yellow paint job as he got closer.

Then he looked up, and admired something completely different.

Frank had always been aware that Gerard was attractive. Extremely attractive. But he had never really read into it that much.
Now, however, he could see all the perfect features of Gerard's face and really focus on them.

His hair practically glowed under the spring sun, amplifying his pale complexion that almost made him look like a porcelain doll. His eyes, a hypnotising hazel shade, showed mystery, leading Frank to wish he knew more about this boy; a deep, intense curiosity that filled his soul.

"You're walking alone dude. You want a ride?" Gerard said, his beautiful eyes smiling at Frank as he spoke.
Frank hesitated, but he concluded that this was a one-of-a-kind offer. Not only could he get a ride in a Jaguar E-Type, but he could also ride with possibly the most attractive and mysterious person he had ever met.

It was too good to refuse.

Frank thanked Gerard and hopped into the passenger seat, placing his bag on the floor by his feet.
Gerard was looking at Frank as he arranged himself in the car, a small smirk on his face.

He couldn't lie, he found Frank incredibly attractive. It was distracting.

"So," Gerard said, once he had broken free of his trance, "where to?"

Frank looked confused, knowing it was a college day and they both had class.

"I-I thought we were gonna go to the college?" Frank said, his eyebrows knotted into a confused frown.

Gerard chuckled.

"Frank, you and I both know that we're not exactly going to miss much. We only have music today and it's just theory anyway. Let's go on an adventure."

As Gerard said the final sentence, his eyes sparkled with an almost childlike sense of mischief. Frank couldn't resist it.

"Okay then," he said, a huge grin forming across his face, "let's go drive off the edge of the world."

Gerard grinned back at Frank, and gave what Frank swore was a wink, but couldn't be sure.

"Let's hit the gas." he said, and suddenly put his foot down onto the accelerate pedal, causing the car to rocket down the street at a rate that would normally have been alarming, but the two boys inside just laughed, the cool wind whipping their hair and painting their noses pink.

Whenever he got the chance, Gerard stole glances at Frank. He really was stunning. His black hair framed his face perfectly, his fringe forming into a perfect little curl under his right cheekbone that was now disrupted by the wind. His eyes, which looked like golden pools of honey in the early morning sun, sparkled with delight as he laughed. And his smile. Gerard almost forgot to focus on the road because of that damn smile. That boyish, oh so attractive smile.

"Where are we going?" Frank chuckled, once again snapping Gerard out of his trance. Gerard smirked at Frank, and could've sworn he saw Frank's cheeks turn pink.

He hoped to God it hadn't been his imagination.

"Just where you said, Frankie, to the end of the earth and beyond. We're never gonna stop this drive. Why stop a perfect thing when it has no reason to be stopped?"

Frank held Gerard's gaze, and grinned. Gerard's right hand fell free from the steering wheel, and intertwined with Frank's slender fingers. The two smiled like little boys on Christmas day; a look of such pure happiness that nothing could break it.

And so they drove, like Gerard said, to the ends of the earth and beyond.
