Part Three

Sophie's POV

“Congratulations!” I squeal while running up to Anne to hug her. “You two are amazing together, I’m so happy for you!”

“Thank you babe.” She smiles hugging me back.

“Let’s see the ring then!” Anne holds out her left hand to show off the biggest and most stunning diamond ring I have ever seen.  “It’s gorgeous.”

“A gorgeous ring for my gorgeous fiancée.” Max kisses Anne playfully on the nose; it’s so cute it’s unbelievable.  I really hope that one day Nath and I reach this stage.

Roxie’s POV

“I told you he was going to propose!” I say while playfully punching Siva on the arm.

“Heyy.” He moans at me, making us both laugh. “Yes you did babe, how do you know?”

“I saw him looking at engagement rings.” I smile slyly.

“So you thought you would blurt out his secret?” Siva laughs at me.

“Well I knew you wouldn’t believe me, so I saw no harm in it.”

“And there was me thinking that maybe you could read minds!”

“Ooh I can do that too.” I reply while winking at him. "Right now you want me to kiss you.” And with that I reach up and begin to kiss Siva passionately.

Tom’s POV

My best mate engaged to the girl I love. Not that I would be his best mate or would he be engaged to her if he knew the truth. Why does feeling sorry for yourself have to be so easy, when doing something about it has to be so hard and complicated? Either way someone’s getting hurt. If I tell him the truth I might as well be ripping out my best friend’s heart. But keeping quite hurts myself and more importantly the girl I love. I can’t let her go through with it. Not when she doesn’t want to, that would be awful for Max too. But now I’m actually thinking about doing it; I can’t tell him. I see Anne’s problem now. It’s hard to tell someone you care about something that’s going to destroy everything they want.

Anne’s POV

“So where’s what ever you went into town to get?” Max asks me when everyone has finally finished congratulating me on the biggest mistake of my life.

“I ran into Tom on the way, and I was too excited  to wait any longer so I came home with him.”

“I really glad you said yes. I don’t know what I would do if you hadn’t you’re everything to me Anne. Please never leave me?” I start panicking slightly. Where has this come from, surely he doesn’t know anything, and his words cut like a knife, why do I have to mean so much to him?

“Of course I’ll never leave you. Come here you.” I say pulling him back onto the bed with me. Suddenly he’s straddling me and leaning down to kiss me. But all I want to do is sleep; all of this pretending is really tiring.

Tom’s lips are pressed against mine as he slowly opens his mouth deepening the kiss. I move my body closer to his, never wanting to let him go.

Max pushes his tongue into my mouth, while I force myself not to pull away.

Tom begins undressing me as I sigh happily in anticipation for what is to come.

Max runs his hands over my naked body as I reluctantly begin to undress him.

Tom sends showers of kisses all over my skin as our bare bodies entwine as if we truly belong together.
