Chapter 1: Why I love being alone

Kai's POV

Today was Sunday and for his birthday we threw a party for Cole and got him his favorite kind of cake: every flavor cake. I had to wait a day on line to get the cake for him at a super exclusive bakery off Ninjago and had to use a whole 3 months of paychecks to pay for it. During the party, with the super cheep @$$ decorations compared to the cake, I had to drop off the cake then had to go and do chores for Wu. By the time I got back to the party the cake I spent ALL 'MY' MONEY ON AND A DAY IN LINE FOR!!!!!!!😠😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 was all gone. And I didn't even get to taste it!!!!!! Well apparently Cole had a cold and Sneezed above the cake before he divided it up and everyone, even Zane oddly enough,later on got sick. So that ment I had to go to school alone and deal with all the criticism and booing and pressure alone. Even if for only one day ( hopefully) I knew I was in for a bad week.

☉The next day☉

I woke up at 6 as usual and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. As I heard my sister's alarm clock go off I heard her usual moan and then she smacked her alarm on the floor like usual and screamed since she forgot she started using her phone. She got up went to get her phone and then came out of her room to get the vacuum to suck up the glass from her phone screen. And I knew that I had to buy her a new phone for the 7th time this month then I saw her tired expression as she sat on the stool at the counter and began to play with her pancakes as per usual. And then it hit me like a speeding garbage truck on a freeway.
She was gonna need to stay home without a working phone or any food. I was gonna go grocery shopping last night but no money so no food. I look in the fridge and saw a milk carton, a ketchup bottle, grape jelly,  and an iou from Lloyd from the time he came over. Then I checked the pantry and found a box of cinnamon triangles, some unopened bread, and peanut butter. 'Sha-ding' as an imaginary lightbulb lit up above my head. I went into the linen closet and found the old toaster and brought it out and put in a couple pieces in the slots then set the timer for 3 mins just like Nya likes it. Then I went into my room and used spinjitzu to change into my school outfit (same as the movie) and went into the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and fix my hair from my bed head ( bedhead looks like old haircut) then went to my phone and onto Arazona (like amazon) and ordered a new phone for Nya and some new cases and screen protectors. Then I heard the toaster go off and Nya shuffle to it grab the toast and saw her walk into her room with her food then I grab my backpack and head out the door.

Time skip to when Kai gets to school.

As I walked through the doors I saw several cheerleaders other jocks and even needs staring at me then I began to speed walk to my locker. All of a sudden the Garmadon alarm went off and I stuck my stuff in my lockers secret compartment and use the secret entrance to get to the mech hanger and saw sensei stare at me obviously wondering where the others where. "The others were sick so I need to take my mech" I said plainly and reached my mech's recliner and was about to hop in when I noticed it was upgraded and was  different but looked super bad@$$ ( looked like the hulkbuster out of infinity war) I jumped in to see the same set up but some new tricks. I ran out of the hanger and headed towards the mayor's office tower to defend it when I saw that Garmadon was using his Garmamech again and I remember what happened when he used it last and I prep my mech's defences.
