Unexpected Love (One Shot)

Its graduation and all the graduates were either congratulating their fellow graduates or were with their family and friends. Jane and Calvin were nowhere to be found, secluded in a small garden away from prying eyes. "What are we doing here Calvin? You said you had a surprise!" Jane stated with a humorous and slightly annoyed tone. "I just wanted to tell you something... with no one else to listen but you." Calvin said hesitantly. "Well, then tell me." Calvin comes closer to her and holds her hands. "Okay, here it goes... Before we became close friends i never thought i would have so much fun with you and our friends. That happiness became longing that turned into an unexpected feeling. It turned into love. I've never experienced love so i just coped with it; spending time with you as much as i can but not too much that you would think i was desperate or obsessed with you. i got to know you more and more and i was so happy. You were the reason i always felt happy about going to school and you were also the reason i feel happy going home because i know i get to talk to you."...."I love you Jane" Jane was in tears from his confession and didn't know what to say. Feelings buried deep within her started to rise. The overwhelming feelings has taken its toll and her and suddenly she just ran away. Calvin wanting to know the reason why she left chased her. He found her in the playground where they first met. "Why are you crying?" Calvin asked after sitting beside her and hugging her. After a few minutes of crying Jane finally spoke." You don't know how long i've loved and waited for you. I felt complete after spending every moment of everyday with you. When it was summer i wanted to talk to you but didnt have the courage to." That was when i realized i had nothing without you and everything with you" Calvin was crying by the time she was done talking. They sat there... on the playground, their first meeting place holding one another feeling each other's warmth. Then out of nowhere Calvin leaned in and kissed her. It was raining by the time they pulled back. In that playground, their first meeting place, they found each other.
