That Night

The lights of the dorm went out. It was a weekend and it had been late at that time. Most of the students in the dorm were still awake either due to schoolwork or just plain insomnia, as was the state Todoroki Shoto was in due to his room oddly being chilly, so he tried using his flame quirk to warm him up a little but that gave him cold sweat.

      Kaminari Denki was one of the residents of the dorm where most of Class 1-A resided. "I can't sleep." said Kaminari, "It feels oddly... spacious."

      Kaminari had been dating Jirou at the time. The two had really hit it off ever since Jirou confessed to Kaminari, saying she loved him. Fortunately, the feeling was mutual.

    Denki then got the genius idea and stood up from his bed and out into the dorm corridor. The lights were out, sure, but there was just about enough moonlight in order to see. Denki, somewhat tired and half-awake, stumbled and barely made it to Jirou's door. He was just about to knock but then he stopped.

What if I disturb her?
What if I disturb her then she'll wake up then she'll be super cranky and we won't have much quality time together tomorrow?

    But Kaminari, being the happy-go-lucky guy he is, figures he could just apologize to Jirou the morning after and knocks on the door.

"Jirou? Are you currently awake?"

No response.

Kaminari is about to knock a second time when the door opens. A tired Jirou opens the door "What's up?" She says. "...And why are you here so late?"

        As it turns out, she had been studying for a topic that had recently come up in class that she had difficulty in understanding what it was. "I just wanted to help you out with what you're studying on over there!" Kaminari said "Since I wanted to be a great boyfie and all that!" Kaminari really just wanted to sleep in her company but he figured he would try to help out Jirou with what she had to study.

Later that night

"So, uhh, you're saying that if this one cuts out this other one, that one will be equal to.." and Jirou kept on asking so she could make sure she understood what Kaminari told her about the lesson.

"Alright, I guess I taught you everything I know!" said Kaminari. "Alright, I'm gonna give you a little thing to work on and just tell me when you're done." Kaminari then scribbled up a few arithmetic-related questions and gave them to Jirou. "Are you sure this'll help me keep up on the lesson?" asked Jirou with a little bit of certainty along with a bit of doubt. Kaminari then replied with a small little "Mm." to say yes.

Kaminari was incredibly tired after explaining to Jirou the lesson so while Jirou was answering the questionaire, Kaminari dozed off in Jirou's bed.

"Hey, Kaminari, I'm done answering your thi--" Jirou was about to finish her sentence before she noticed the tired Kaminari in her bed. Angry, she walked up to her bed to wake up her fellow companion. She was about to wake him up until she noticed his sleeping face. "Cute.." she thought to herself. He tried hard to help Jirou understand her studies so she figured she'll let Kaminari doze off in her bed. She moved Kaminari a little so she could fit in and tucked herself in with him. She cuddled with Kaminari, who was totally knocked out, I must mention, so she could avoid falling off. Then, suddenly, Jirou found herself to also be in the loving embrace of her lover, Kaminari.

Jirou smiled a little and kissed her lover's cheek softly and slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Kaminari, I love you."
