The hybrid

Chapter 1

Audrey's POV

So I've been home schooled all my life and on my 16th birthday, 2 months ago, I asked if I could go to a regular high school. To become a regular teenager. But I'm not. And I NEVER will. The truth is I'm rare. My mom is a vampire and my dad is werewolf. So what would that make me? Well a Hybrid is what I am called. 

Since I could walk, I've been trained; to fight, trust no one, and to even kill. There has always been a target on my back due to my kind. Hopefully high school can just distract me from my supernatural life. 

"Mom! I'm almost ready for school. Are you still dropping me off?" I yelled towards my mothers room.

"Yes! Can you be any louder?" She asked irrated.

"Well sorry I'm just excited to finally go to an actual high school with actual teenagers." I grabbed my backpack and a piece of candy for breakfast. My mother saw the piece of candy when we got to the car but didn't say anything. Lucky me.

Once we arrived at the front of the school I kissed my moms cheek am doing ran towards the front doors. The hallways weren't crowded yet like I've seen in movies because I got there a little early. I wondered my way up to the office and told the clerk that I was a new student. She asked for my name then gave me my schedule and locker number.

I first went to my locker to drop off the things I did not need for the first two classes. I looked at my schedule to see that I have Chemistry first period. As I turned around to head to my classroom I ran into someone who was going so fast that caused both of our books and papers to drop. 

"Watch where your going clumsy!" A harsh male voice came from in front of me. And to think, I was about to apologize for my so called " clumsiness". 

"Well maybe you should watch were your going jackass!"

That's when I finally looked at him, and I instantly became speechless. Like who could have created such a good looking guy. I told myself to snap out of it and walk away. Go to class.
