Katelyns pov
After all our family members had all said goodbye and congratulations to my class we were able to go to the after grad party. I walked in to the gym where it was being held with Jeffory and Garroth and Laurence close behind us. "Hey Katelyn do you want some punch?" Jeffory asked "yeah thanks." I said as we grabbed a table near the dance floor "Heyyyy Katelyn!" Garroth said as he walked up to me with Laurence being dragged behind him "were going to the dance floor see you later girl!" Garroth said as he and Laurence walked over to the dance floor and started dancing.
The music blasted in the gym and everyone was having a great time. Jeffory came back with the drinks and we grabbed a seat at the table eating little snacks and having fun. The band started playing my favourite slow song and Jeffory stood up and said "Katelyn May I have this dance?" As he extended his hand to me "of course!" I say as Jeffory and I stole the dance floor, we twirled around and danced until the song was over then we moved over to Garroth and Laurence and danced around the floor with them.

Nickis pov
"I'm so proud of them!" My dad says as he starts to bawl his eyes out "Hey dad it's okay." I say as I get into the back seat of our car with Zane right behind me "Ya Mr Hofe they will do great in collage!" Zane comments as he sits next to me in the back seat of the car. "Ya ya okay your right they be fine. I'll just miss my little blueberry when she leaves for collage in a couple months." My dad says wiping his eyes and nose. " Hey I'll still be here dad and so will Kacy!" I say as I try and cheer him up. Zane looks over at me and smiles while giving me a wink, I look away as my face betrays me and starts to heat up making me blush. "Speaking of Kacy would you like to go and visit him and show him the photos of Katelyn graduating?" My dad asks as he turns on the car and backs out of the schools parking lot. "Are you up for visiting Kacy Zane?" I ask as I settle back into my seat and do up my seatbelt as Zane follows my actions "Sure I'm up for it I haven't seen him in a while." Zane says as my dad nods his head as he pulls out into the highway towards the hospital where Kacy currently resides.

*Time skip to the hospital*

"We're here guys! Let's get going in before visiting hours are over, we only have a couple hours left." My dad says as he parks the car in an empty parking spot and opens his door stepping out of the car. Me and Zane simultaneously give each other a look then we unbuckle our seatbelts and open our doors stepping out into the asphalt of the parking lot. We walk into the hospitals lobby before reaching the front reception desk. "Oh hello Mr Hofe, Nicki and..." the receptionist goes on saying our names since we are regulars here. "It's Zane." Zane says sticking his hand out to the lady sitting behind the desk "Well nice to see Kacy will have some new visitors other then his father and sister, Mr Zane." She says as she shakes his hand and smirks over to me. I smirk back knowing she was kidding since she's the nicest nurse in the hospital. "Is his room open right now though?" I ask wondering if he had any doctors with him right now. "Yes it is you guys can head right on in have a good time see you all later!" She says sending us off. "Okay his room is down this hall Zane." I say as I proceed to walk down the hall to his room. I lightly knock on his door twice before opening the door and entering. "Oh hello guys!" Kacy says as he waves us in. "How have you guys been, what's new? Oh hey Zane!" Kacy speaks, Zane waves back to home before we all take a seat in Kacy's new room that's bigger then the last room since he had been staying here for a couple months. Our dad sits on the chair next to him and me and Zane sit on the small couch in the other side of him. "We're doing great Kacy, and Katelyn just graduated an hour ago, she was valedictorian with Garroth Zane's brother." I say as I pull out my phone and open up photos to show him the pictures of Katelyn and Jeffory in their graduation robes, and Garroth and Laurence in theirs as well as a photo of Garroth and Katelyn giving their speaches. "Aww man I would've loved to see that, but I also have some great news he says as he lifts up his arm that was in a cast covered with scribbles and drawing mostly from me. "What is it Kac?" I say using his nickname 
"Well I had a check up this morning and the doctor gave me some cool news, he was going to tell you but I was all like no let me tell them the next time they're here and he was all like really are you sure and I'm like ya man I got this." Kacy says as he starts to rants off about what happened to him this morning "Okay Kacy we get it what did doctor Cole tell you?" My dad says cutting him off "oh yeah, well Dr Cole is awesome since he  says that I can actually go home in two weeks they just need to do re checkups making sure everything is stable and good again! Then I'm free!Well almost I still have a cast on." Kacy says as his smile beams! "Oh my gosh Kacy that's amazing bro!" I say as I jump up and give him a squeeze. "Awesome Kacy! When are you coming back to school man?" Zane asks him as they first bump "um I'm not sure maybe next year when I finish my homework from the last couple months there is only two weeks left for the rest of us." Kacy says as he reaches over to his bedside table for a note boon that was crammed full of papers. "Well have fun Kacy we better go and being Zane home though. Goodnight bro." I say as we all stand up to leave his room "Bye guys have a safe drive see you later!" Kacy says as we walk down the hall out of his room. We tell the reception we're leaving then we get into the car. "Well that's great news." My dad says as he pulls out of the parking lot into the road "It sure is." I say as I look out my window at the passing scenery "it sure is."
