Chapter one

'Oh come on Amber we brought you all the way out here you have got to give us something' Dylan says as I look at all the football team suddenly feeling a little bit nervous.
'I thought we were just gonna go swimming in the lake' I ask as the boys laugh.
'Oh you didn't catch the part we're we mentioned skinny dipping did you' Chad says as I laugh anxiously trying to find my phone in my pocket to call for help.
'So ladies first' Dylan says expecting me to take off my clothes as I take off my jacket.
'Now your turn' I demand as they look at like I'm a peace of meat.
'I thought we agreed ladies first' Brad says as I feel my power steaming throw my veins.
'It's the 21st century that whole ladies first thing is bullshit especially when guys like you exist' I say suddenly feeling confident as I take off my top.
'Fine, boys' Dylan says as they all start to strip.
'Now why don't you take off the rest so I can exam you completely' Chad says suddenly grabbing my ass as I look out towards the lake.
'Last one in gets frost bite' I say as they quickly jump into the lake as I hang back.
'You coming in or what' Brad yells as I suddenly put my jacket over me. I suddenly grab the bottle of gin as I spray it all over their clothes.
'Ingium' I whisper as I watch their clothes catch fire.
'You boys fucked with the wrong girl tonight' I say as they desperately swim to shore.
'rigescunt indutae' I yell as suddenly the lake starts to freeze trapping them. I watch the boys turn into solid ice as I smile to myself.

Bella's voiceover

In the town of Wickery Valley where everyday seems like Halloween. For a 1000 years their has been legends of a supernatural presence in this town. The humans believe this to increase tourism and to put our small town on the map of Virginia.

But what if I were to tell you the legend was true. The supernatural in this town stay unknown and just a myth to the locals but at night we roam the town freely but in the day we blend in just like we are thought to by our parents. We keep to ourselves and don't fraternize with the humans so we don't risk exposure.

I was born in this town sixteen years ago to parents of a vampire and a warlock. But me like so many others are yet to discover our true abilities. My parents may have been the villains in other people's stories but not in mine. Whatever wrong they did was to protect me from evil. Evil which lays low in this town that we still have yet to face.

We survive in this town because we are cautious and chose our battles wisely. We follow the rules and get on the good side of the locals. By attending the local high school supernaturals like me keep to our selves but at night we turn, transition and become the beast from within.

We are dangerous and we find it hard to become close to anyone but the people we know we can trust. We fall in and out of love and get our hearts broken. We go to high school dances and throw parties in the forbidden woods.

We being the children of the damned can only hope for a brighter future but sometimes we lose that hope and fall into the darkness that runs through our blood. With genes of being werewolves, vampires, witches, warlocks, Hell hounds, Banshees and so many others we sometimes can't fight our cravings and control our power. But we don't want to have the lives our parents once did. To be feared and made the villain of people's stories, we need to be better to avenge our parents mistakes in the past.

But that hope slowly started to rise from the ashes but since the day I learned the consequences of breaking the rules, when I met human boy Harvey Allen. He came into my life and changed everything. Coming from two different worlds, I would learn he may not be the hero I thought he could be or could he be the one to save us all from ourselves.
