<3 <3 Chapter One- Surpriseee!!! <3 <3

‘Jer!!!!’ I woke up with a start as I heard a scream coming from the bathroom.  A beautiful start to my morning. But wait, was that …? ‘Al! Are you okay?’, as I rushed towards the bathroom. I found her on the floor with her back turned towards me. Okay, at this point in time, I was sort of starting to freak out. She quickly turned and shoved a white stick into my hands. “Look!” why did she give me a white stick to hold? Weird huh? I was in the process of giving it back when she said, “it came out positive, and I’m pregnant!”  Those were the words that are going to change my life as I know it. “Jer, say something, move, breathe, you are freaking me out.., Jer!’’ I let out a breath that I didn’t realize I’d been holding till then. That was really unexpected, talk about an early birthday gift. So there I was just frozen solid. Hey! Hearing those words just kind of, you know how guys get when they are told they are going to be fathers. Yeah, that kind of feeling. You just want to scream, cry, smile; it’s a mixed reaction, pretty much messed up. That’s exactly how I felt, but I’ve got to suck it up right? No, nope I think I am going to freak out, I need to sit down. Whoa! Is it hot in here? As you can see, I’m not really taking this well. Okay, deep breaths…. “I’m going to be in the kitchen, breakfast in twenty...’ she gave me a kiss on my cheek, and then walked out of the bathroom. I messed up didn’t I? Jeez! I’m such a douche! I made her upset. It did actually take some time for me to calm down. Then I resolved to go down the stairs. I made my way towards the kitchen, great… pancakes. She only makes them when she’s upset and right now I see a whole tray of them in front of me. I walked towards her and kissed her neck. Yeah, smooth. “Babe, I’m sorry” Just then I received a blow from the spatula. Wow, and here I was thinking that I was being smooth. I am persistent, so I turned off the stove, grabbed the spatula and pulled her into a full frontal kiss. Ha! Gothcha. She was putty in my hands when I got her like this. I broke away from her lips and whispered in her ear whiles in a tight embrace. “I love you okay, and I am so happy” I put my free hand on her stomach and kissed her again. Woo! Point team Jeremey! Okay now its breakfast time. I was starving, but I still wouldn’t be able to finish that mountain load of pancake. But I don’t have to worry... Alessia is such a pancake eating monster, and now, she’s eating for two. Great………..

Alessia.

Could life get any better? I am sooo super pumped. After all that pancakes, I should probably hit the gym.  Just then I suddenly felt so tired. It was like my body had a mind of its own. Okay, no exercising today. Just then my stomach decided to go on a rampage. It was like a battle in there, bathroom! I only about made it in time before everything came out. Just when I think it’s over, it starts all over again. I was at it for like ten minutes. Okay now I am sure I puked half my body weight. My head was pounding. So, this is the dreaded morning sickness.  I managed to get onto my feet then quickly brushed the taste of barf in my mouth then slumped onto my bed, only to get up thirty minutes later to start all that again. What the heck! How am I going to go through this? Maybe, this wasn’t a good idea. I made it onto my bed for the fifth time. I think it has finally subsided. Just when I was about to close my eyes, the alarm went off. Gosh! It’s two already. How am I going to make it to work? I couldn’t possibly go through the day feeling like this. So, I called in sick. Okay now I can sleep in peace, or at least try to.

I might be having a crazy dream, because I hear strange plopping sounds on my window. Last time I checked, yup, I was asleep. ‘Plop!’ Okay I’m up! Who can that be? My legs feel like they have been sealed with concrete. I can’t even lift them. “Bzzzzz!’’. What the heck is that! Oh… that’s just my phone. It’s Maddie. Yeah, one of my crazy best friends that God gave me. Why is she calling me, it’s like... Six! Gosh! It’s six? How did that happen? “Hey quit freaking out and let me in, I’ve been throwing pebbles at your window for the past fifteen minutes.” Okay so I wasn’t crazy after all. Hey! Quit yelling Maddie, I’m going to be down in a minute! Okay now I’m the one yelling. Jeez, why am I so irritable at the moment…. (Wait for it, yeah u know). What is she really doing here at this time, it’s not like I don’t want to see her or anything. Just not in the mood at the moment. It took me like forever to get downstairs, since when did the stairs get soo long? So I opened the door and there she was, Maddie, in all her glory, perfect timing. “Heeeey….wait, why are you giving me that look? Why what is up with you?” What face is she talking about? “Umm, Mad…. I can’t see my face….. So I don’t know” So I haven’t actually told her yet. Still contemplating. I have always told her that she would be in this situation before me, and now look what happened…. She’s going to freak! Wait, why is she looking at me like that? ‘Hey back off, I aint one of your patients… you giving me that docterly look… please stop.” Okay now she’s smiling like, this insanely huge grin. “Al! Why didn’t you tell me that you are pregnant?” Well, that just made everything easier didn’t it. That’s because I didn’t know till this morning. Well plus side of having a best friend that deals with this kind of field. Well say hello to my personal doctor, how fascinating, which brings me back to a thought… what, is she doing here?
