I looked at him puzzled.

"Wait the multi-millionaire Lucas Hamliton?" I asked

"Yes I believe that's me" he replied with a grin.

"Wow ummm what are you doing here in Lukeville?" I asked sheepishly

"I'm here to get away from the city" He replied confidently

Wow who would want to be away from the city. Its so much better than this lowly populated town. I bet in the city they don't get arrested for gambling.

I quickly snapped out of my daydream to face this hunk of reality. I had no idea why I was running away from this guy. He didn't look middle-aged at all.

"So do you wanna get something to eat ?" he asked

"Um no thanks. I'm really busy." I replied foolishly

"Busy doing what? Running away from the law?" he said with a laugh

He had a point there. I was busy with nothing.

"Okay fine. Let's get something to eat." I said with my stomach suddenly agreeing with my decision.

As i was walking towards the car Lucas quickly ran towards the passager's door and opened it. What a gentlemen!

"Thanks" I replied my voice all shaky and nervous.

"No problem" Lucas replied with a grin.

I blushed profusely as i looked at his grin. Why did he have to be so handsome? This should be a crime. If i was still driving in the police car and got a good look at his face while he was grinning do you know how much damage I would have caused? He's pretty dangerous.

After what seemed like hours of driving we finally reached a fancy restaurant. I should've known. I thought we were going to Denny's or a less expensive establishment, but i was wrong.

As I grabbed my backpack the passenger door suddenly opened.

Lucas opened the door for me. How sweet of him.

As I stepped outside the cool evening breeze blew threw my long brown hair.

When we got inside the smell of over-priced food and fanciness filled my nose. It smelled really good compared to the police department smell.

As the waiter escorted us to our table for two everyone around us got quiet and started to whisper. I knew this was a bad idea.

People probably recognized me from the news, but when i listened to one of their conversations they weren't talking about the news they were talking about my clothes!!!

This is just soo rude!!!

As I sat down and felt about 100 eyeballs watching my every move.

Lucas must have notice because he tried to change the subject.

"So where do you go to school?" he asked trying to be polite

"Lukeman HIgh School" I said

As I said those 3 words Lucas's face became pale.
