"Tell me the story again please?" I ask intertwining our hands together.

"I will when we get home I promise" Axel smiles and pecks me on the lips.

"Not fair" I pout

"Oh, but it is missy" He smirks while lifting me up on his shoulders.

"Axel! Put me down!" I scream while laughing.

"Na I like it up here"

"Axel, Miranda is probably lost already"

"Ugh fine." He says, finally lets me down and I look around for our adopted daughter.

"I really hope she doesn't go through anything when she's a teenager" I sigh.

"She won't. I won't let her." I smile at his words as we both lay back onto the park bench and watch everything go by us.
