Escape From Middle School

Chapter 1

Alli's POV: "Alli wake up or you're gonna be late for you first day of middle school"! I stirred on my bed still wanting to take in the warmth of the covers on my legs and body. "Allison Vasquez get up now"! my mom shouted

"Okay okay geez i'm up". I answered still kinda half asleep. I raced downstairs after I'd gotten ready to have a light breakfast.

"Well look who finally got up out of bed Miss Lazy". my mom teased

"Haha". I laughed "Mom i'm not gonna miss my very first day of middle school you know that"! I joked playfully while finishing up packing my backpack.

"I know sweetie but I can't believe you're already a 7th grader you're growing up so fast"!

"Our baby girl going to Seabreeze Junior High i'm so proud of you"! my dad said while sitting at the table sipping coffee and beaming with pride

Brrtt Brrtt Brrtt my phone was ringing.

"Mother may I"? I asked while pointing to the phone

"Sure go ahead honey you never know who it may be". I checked the phone and made a disappointed face.

"Spammer"... I said blankly and then clicked deny

"Bummer"... Dad said "I really thought Megan would go out of her way to contact you. You two have been friends since 3rd grade"... he stated

"Yeah I was hoping that too but it's middle school things like this happen". I said

*Honk Honk* the bus was here I finished packing up my backpack and ran out the door.

"Bye Mom"! "Bye Dad"! I shouted and then grabbed a slice of toast and left.

                                                               {TIME SKIP TO LUNCH}

I was walking in the hallway holding my lunch pail in one hand and my backpack in the other it was too heavy for my back. I was looking for some people to sit with and possibly make new friends. I confidently approached a group of girls by the lockers "Hey i'm Alli can I have lunch with yo--". They got up and walked away from me "Wow rude"! I thought "But maybe they're just populars yeah just populars". I made my way through the hallway and tried going up to a group of guys "Hey my name's All--"... same thing they got up and walked away "Weird". I thought I got a glimpse of one guys eyes they were strange... Gray and blank with an odd cult looking red symbol where the pupil should be. "Wow I hope those were contacts"! I whispered to myself "Hey my nam--" Same thing "Sup I--". "What is wrong with these people"? I thought. Eventually I just gave up and sat on a stone bench on the amphitheater by myself.

I was in the middle of eating my sandwich when a girl walked to me.

"Hi my name's Allison"! "Umm... do you mind if I sit here"? she asked

"No not at all"! I answered

"Really Thank You"! she said/shouted 

"You're Welcome but there's no need to get so happy it's not a big deal just lunch". I said surprised

"I know but you're the first person that's been nice to me all day and it's pretty nice". she said

                                                                      {TIME SKIP WHILE CHATTING}

"Hey Alli"? Allison questioned.

"Hm yea what is it"? I answered

"Well have you noticed that everyone here is kinda...odd"? she said

"Now that you mention it seems a lot weirder. Why"?

"Because everyone was expressionless their voices were monotone and they have no color"! she exclaimed

"Have you seen their eyes"? I asked

"No why"? she asked

"Erm... it's kinda hard to explain but they were grey and blank and there was this red symbol where the pupil should've been". I explained

"OMG I did see that! Freaky". she exclaimed

"At first I thought it was one guy with cool contacts but everyone has those eyes. Do you know why"? I stated

"Nu-uh". she shook her head no "I don't know why but can I say something crazy"? she asked

"Sure I love crazy"! I exclaimed

"Well uh do you believe in hypnosis"?

"Hypnosis what are you saying"?! I was deeply confused this random blonde most likely rich girl was talking to me and that was cool, but I didn't know what she was on to

"Well hypnosis is when someon--".

"Yeah I know what hypnosis is". I cut her off. "What i'm confused about is what it has to do with their eyes OMG I GET IT NOW"!

She smiled worriedly and had a hopeful look in her eyes "You do"? she said

"Yes it all makes sense usually in movies when someone's hypnotized their eyes change and get blank right"? I mentioned

"Yes exactly like movies"! She sounded really excited "But now we need to figure out who's hypnotizing them"... She looked lost in thought

"Girl you are crazy and I love that about you"! I complimented

"I know". she said doing a sassy hair flip with her blonde curls, and I did the same with my long Brunette locks. We laughed for a long time until someone came up to us someone with the eyes...
