Ashton's P.o.V
I played Fifa with Calum again, letting him win. "Can you at least try? It's no fun when your opponent's a loser," he chuckled, scoring his fourth goal. "Calum, football is so stupid. You just kick a ball around. I've been doing that since I was 3. So I'm a pro at football!" I defend. Calum rolls his eyes.
"You need help. Don't have a brother or dad or someone that likes football?" Calum asked. I nodded. "Yeah, but that doesn't mean I have to like it," I say. Calum groans, which turned into a laugh, and laid back on the couch. "You're such a complicated person Irwin," He chuckled, covering his face with the controller. "Well, you're not so simple yourself Hood. You play bass. What even is that?" Calum shot up at my comment. "Bass? Bass! Bass is fun, because you can walk and play. What about you, drummer boy? What can you do?"
We continued woh pur instrument-offending banter for a while, until Luke barged in. "Look at the lovebirds here," he mumbled, smiling. "Lovebirds? Seriously Luke!" Calum blushed. I smiled down at the floor. "Do you want your covers or not?" Luke asked, smiling. "Of course I want to do covers you ass," Calum said. "Ashton, you wanna ride back to the house?" Calum asked.
"We're filming here." "But I don't have my bass." "Oh yeah, forgot." "I'll be back." Calum grabbed his keys and left the room. "So, tell me. What's going on between you two?" Luke asked, sitting in the chair previously occupied by Calum. "What're you talking about?" I ask. "You and Cal. C'mon dude, you've totally got a thing for him," Luke smirked. "I do not. I think you just want to hook us up so you can come over here more often to make out with Michael," I retort.
Luke smiles. "What me and Michael do is none of your concern Ashton. That's not the point. You love this kid," he smiled. "Luke. I barely met this kid. I don't like him. I-I'm not even gay," I say, getting slightly pissed. Luke stopped smiling. "You have to get away from Calum," Luke ordered. "Luke. I swear I don't like Calum. I'm not gonna hurt him why do I have to get away from him?" I said.
"Fine. But listen. Calum is very.... sensitive. That guy you saved him from was his ex-boyfriend. And that guy cheated on him. The point is, don't get too friendly with him. He loves to be in relationships, but hates it when they break."
"Doesn't everybody?"
"But Calum's different. Look Ashton. Don't lead him on. Don't even try to be friendly. Well, you can be friendly, but.. Ugh, just don't let him get the chance to fall for you. He always falls to fast and I don't want either of you getting hurt." "Luke. I promise I won't hurt him." Luke sighed. "I'm sorry Ashton. That was probably really depressing. I just, I care about Calum. So, we have a deal here?"
"Deal. No broken hearts here Lucas. That is if you don't hurt Michael," I say defensively. "Ashton, don't be a drongo, I'm in love with that boy," Luke chuckled. I smile slightly. "I'm still kinda mad at you," he adds. "What did I do?" I ask. "You don't like Fifa!"
Calum's P.o.V
I grabbed my bass and Luke's guitar. Even though Michael probably had guitars galore, I know Luke is a very picky person. He has to have his guitar and only his. I smile at my thoughts as I carefully place them in the back of my car.
I drive back to Michael place, getting a tad lost on the way. I pass by the lounge on the way to Michael's bedroom. "Deal. No broken hearts here Lucas," I hear as I pass by. I arch an eyebrow, but decide against eavesdropping. "Mikey! Get off your lazy ass! Its cover time!" I scold jokingly, placing Luke's guitar on an extra stand. "Okay Calum, I'm starting to regret giving you and Luke an extra key to this place," he groaned, throwing t shirt on.
"Oh, I'm sure you don't regret giving Luke a key," I tease. His face goes red as he chunked a pillow at my face. "Hey hey! I've got an important load with me," I laugh. He rolls his eyes. Get the other two and help Ash with his little drum thing," Michael ordered. I roll my eyes, but do it anyway.
"Luke, Michael wants you to help him set up. Try not to make out too much, yeah?" I smirk. "Whatever," he muttered, walking off with a faint blush. "What'd he tell me to do?" Ashton asked. He didn't seem as hyper and happy as he was before I left. I shrugged it off as lack of energy. "Uh, he said for me to help you get you practice drum... thingy," I say. He smiles slightly, adding a chuckle that sounded a little nervous.
"Everything alright?" I ask. "Yeah. C'mon, I'll get it," he says. I'm almost 100 percent sure he was lying, but pretended I didn't think that. He grabbed one end and I picked up the other. "It looks a lot lighter than it is," I strained. He shrugged. "You get used to it."
We did a cover of 'Teenage Dirtbag', and stopped there, because Luke and Ashton were to lazy too film again. "Wanna do another?" I asked Michael. He snaked his arm around Luke and kissed his temple. "No thanks, I'm good," he smiled, hugging on my roommate. "Hey, uh, you know the camera's still rolling," Ashton joked. Michael shit up straight and put his hands behind him. "R-Really?" he blushed. Luke smiled to himself, turning red like a tomato.
"Nah, just playing with you," Ashton smiled. "I fucking hate you! C'mon Lukey," Michael mumbled, creeping his arms around Luke again. Luke smiled and pressed his lips to Michael's. "That's disgusting!" I joke. "Whatever Hood." Michael leaned over Luke and constantly kissed Luke. Luke gently pushed back on him. Ashton and I snickered. "Get out of here guys," Michael muttered.
Ashton grabbed my arm gently and pulled me out of the room. His touch made tingles run down my arm. I smiled slightly and Luke shot up. "Thanks for the headbutt babe," Michael chuckled, rubbing his forearm. "Hold on Mikey," Luke said. "I'll be waiting Hemmo." I rolled my eyes. Luke took Ashton's hand off of my arm.
"Luke, he just took me out of the room. Nothing happened," I said. Luke was really overprotective over because of what happened between me and my last boyfriend. "Ashton, can I talk to you alone."
