She stood there, as beautiful as the first ray of sunshine in the morning. She didn’t even notice me staring at her as she took another sip from her glass. That smile, her overbite that made her smile just a bit different than everyone else’s, that made her smile stand out. Her eyes, although she hated them because of their brown shade, I loved them because of how I could get lost in them.

I could say that I have fallen in love with her, but she wouldn’t believe me. She doesn’t believe she is beautiful, and that kills me.

How can she not see the enchanted beauty she gives off?

How can she say she is nothing special?

Because to me, she is everything. To me, she is the sun that the Earth revolves around.

“What?” She says as she finally notices me staring at her beauty.

I look down to her lips and then to her eyes,” nothing.”

She smiles with her eyes locked on me, and I smile back.” okay,” she says.

And without anything else to say, she leaves. I watch her walk away. I want to follow her, to kiss her and say things that I only say in my head, but I’m never going to do that. That’s crazy to think I can do that.

I look down to my feet. With my hands in my pockets I stand there. Thinking about her again, I smile.

But she doesn’t know, and she possibly never will. Because I can’t find the right words to say the things I feel.

My heart sinks as I see the girl I love covered in blood stuck under a car.
