Chapter 12: Forgiveness and Partying

*the night of the party*

Liam's POV

We were all cleaning up the kitchen after dinner in complete silence. After I finished washing the dishes, I glanced over everyone. They all looked deep in thought. Cat kept sighing and she had small tears in her eyes. All of this is hurting Cat.

I've had enough of this.

"Alright. Everyone to the living room." I said sternly. They all frowned but followed me anyway. Once they were all seated, they looked at me.

"This has gone on long enough," I started. "We all need to let out our feelings. Ignoring each other is getting us nowhere."

After a moment of silence, Sam spoke up.

"I have feelings for Zayn and Liam," she stated bluntly.

"I have feelings for Louis and Niall," Cat spoke barely above a whisper.

"Wow," Harry trailed off. Both girls nodded.

"I like Cat," Louis and Niall spoke simultaniously. They both snapped their heads toward each other and frowned.

"I like Sam," Zayn and I said at once. We had the same reaction as Louis and Niall.

"Well, I'm glad I'm out of this mess," Harry spoke lowly. "So much drama."

We all laughed.

"I'm sorry Sam and I caused you all so much trouble," Cat said quietly.

"Yeah," Sam agreed.

"What do ya mean?" Niall's Irish accent was laced with confusion.

"All of you guys were really close before. It's our fault that you guys aren't talking to each other." Cat explained.

"Yeah. You guys are best friends and we ruined that. We tore you all apart." Sam stated sadly.

"I'm so sorry," Cat said with tears streaming down her face. Louis and Niall sat on either side of her to comfort her. I went towards Sam and sat next to her.

"It's not your fault, you know," I said.

"Stupid emotions," she muttered and I chuckled. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Zayn.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have kissed you, Sam. And I'm sorry for pissing you off, Liam." he said sincerely.

"It's all good, dude," Sam said nonchalantly.

"Yeah, it's alright, mate,"

"So, I'm forgiven?" Zayn asked with hope in his eyes.

"Sure, mate," I said with a small smile. Sam nodded. We all got into a group hug as we laughed.

Niall's POV

Harry, Louis and I were gathered around Cat. We were rubbing her back comfortingly.

"I'm so sorry, guys. I ruined everything in your friendship," she said sniffling. "It isn't your fault, love." Louis reassured her. We sat in silence and heard Sam, Liam, and Zayn laughing. I guess they're doing better now.

"Cat, you already have so much weight on your shoulders and I don't want to put any more pressure on you," Harry started to say. "But I just want you to know that I have a crush on you." he said blushing lightly.

"Wow," Cat whispered. "So, three cute boys like me at one time?" We nodded slowly.

"Whoa, that's crazy!" she said then giggled. We all laughed with her.
