My Inspiration

Grievers solemnly dug graves,
For those who were once brave,
Love is shown,
With no moan,
Remembrance for those who changed our lives.

Pushing through the earth,
Not breaking a law,
With all its might,
Poppies live through the time of war,
The fields fill with beautiful survivors,
Who in our heart are still great fighters.

An oath is taken,
While still shaken,
Silence,
Without violence,
Two minutes is all it takes,
Think of the impact it carefully makes.

I look up to them for,
They died for us,
With no fuss,
These life riskers are the best,
In heaven may they rest.

This is my inspiration,
Soldiers stood proud and tall,
Of course we love them all,
Nonchalant about their lives,
In their heads did they cry,
I'll remember them all my life,
I'll remember them with all my heart.

Thank you for being amazing.
