Naruto:a sensei's redemption

chapter 1: secrets revealed

"Why can't you teach me kakashi Sensei???!!"
said an angry Naruto when he asked his jounin Sensei kakashi hatake to train him and refused all kakashi said was

"I'm sorry Naruto but you don't even have the basics of chakra control down yet and Ebisu here can..."
said kakashi and Naruto said

"NO!!! ever since Sasuke got his sharingan unlocked you've been favoring him over me and Sakura!!"

finally deciding to speak her mind Sakura agrees with Naruto and says

"he's write Sensei, what would your old Sensei,the 4th hokage say if you failed to train his only son?"

confused and curious at the same time he decided to ask

"Sakura, how do you"

before he could finish Sakura interrupted him and said

"how do I know that Naruto is the 4th Hokage's son??? simple.at the academy we studied about him. I read that the 4th hokage died on October 10th,the very same night as the kyuubi attack 13 years ago witch just so happens to be Naruto's birthday so I went to the hokage to confirm my suspicions.he showed me the 4th Hokage's picture on the wall and told me to add whisker marks so I put 2 and 2 together and it all came into perfect view from there. I also looked up the name uzumaki at the library and do you know what I found out?"

now at this point kakashi is surprised that Sakura was able to figure all this out on her own.still speechless Sakura continued

"I found out that the uzumaki actually where a clan and there was only one person who was ever recorded in konoha's public records,a woman named Kushina uzumaki who it turns out was the heiress to the main house of the uzumaki clan so not only have you disrespected your sensei's last wishes kakashi Sensei, but also refuse to train the last uzumaki royal clan heir to the land of whirlpool country"

suddenly hearing all of this kakashi finally realizes his mistake and says

"your right Sakura I have been playing favorites for to long with you 3 and so I've decided I'm going to train both Sasuke and Naruto while you can train with kurenai Sensei on genjutsu"

Sasuke finally coming out of his shocked expression finally decided to speak and said

"Naruto,i want to appologize."

Naruto shocked to hear Sasuke say this decided to speak up and say

"don't worry Sasuke i forgive you"

Sasuke happy to hear this decided to ask

"so Naruto if your the son of the 4th hokage why does the village hate you so much?"
and Naruto said

"well you see Sasuke the story about the 4th hokage killing the kyuubi was a lie.the kyuubi couldn't be killed so like all Biju (tailed beasts) he could only seal it away in a new born child who's chakra coils hadn't developed yet"

said Naruto and then Sasuke came to the only conclusion

"you where that new born child.weren't you"

and Naruto said

"yes Sasuke i Was.so are the two of you going to hate me now that you know what I hold inside of me?try to kill me and insult me like the rest of the ignorant villagers?"

said Naruto as tears started to swell up in his eyes. Then suddenly Sakura and Sasuke said the one thing naruto never expected
"Of course not."
They said together.

And naruto said.

"Really???. You mean it???.
Thanks guys."

And Sakura said.

"Of course we do your our teammate"

And Sasuke said.

"And now I have a new goal.
Naruto. Instead of seeking revenge against my brother Itachi I'm going to help you find any surviving members of your clan and when I become the new uchiha clan head and rebuild it we will support you fully."

And Sakura said.

"That's right naruto. Anyone who can't tell the difference between a kunai and the scroll it's sealed in are idiots."

After accepting naruto for who he is and the burden he carries kakashi finally decided to speak up and said.

"I'm glad that the 2 of you now understand naruto a little bit better but sadly the 2 of you can not tell this to anyone. Naruto's father had many enemies so I'm expecting you to keep this an S-RANK secret" said kakashi as he decided to move onto the matters at hand and said.

"Naruto. Can you ever forgive me???."
Asked kakashi hoping to make amends for failing to see his mistake.

And naruto said.

I'm willing to forgive you Sensei. But I will never forget. Not now and certainly not in the future."

said naruto as he and Sasuke prepare for their full month of training.

Meanwhile sitting at his desk in his office. Third hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi can't help but inwardly laugh at the fact that kakashi just got scolded by his own gennin team and wonders what these slight turn of events will mean for their future.
