C H A P T E R 1

"Fuck sake"
The first thing I say every school morning. I fucking hate sixth form, the teachers are wankers and so are the people in the entire school. The only reason why I go to school is to get away from this mad house. Which what I like to call my house by the way. My mam is non existent since she thought she was too good for Manchester, she wanted to become someone as she used to say. But I know the real reason... its cause she likes sleeping around with middle age men who are somewhat 'famous'. So yeah, its been five years since she left us. This killed my dad, the only way he could cope was through alcohol. Turning him into a raging alcoholic. But at least i have a dad yeah?

I put my uniform on, swipe my long brunette hair into a scruffy pony and do my 'day time' makeup and head to school. On the way, I go to the end of the street to collect my only friend in school. Yes and I mean collect, because if I didn't collect him, he wouldn't leave his bed.
I skip up to the front door and knock. My friends's mam Peggy answers the door with a massive smile on her face. She is such lovely woman and I feel such honour to of known her for as long as I lived.

"Morning Lyla" Peggy greets me.
"Whats the story, morning glory" I say to her while walking into her home.
"Im here to collect Liam as usual"

I walk up stairs and make my way into his bedroom, which is covered in posters of the Beatles and the Stone Roses. Thats my fucking boy...

I jump onto his bed causing him to groan slightly."You're early you twat".
"Shut up, I want a hug"

I jump into his bed and snuggled up to him as he put both arms around my waist to pull me closer. This was normal for us, we knew each other since we were born. 16 years of close friendship, nothing more and nothing less.

"Do you want to skip school today love?" Liam asks me before pushing me off the bed resulting in a loud bang. I start to giggle and get up to jump straight onto him, pinning him down on the bed. Liam threatens to push me off as his brother Noel walks in.

"Sorry noely, did we wake you?" I say while trying not to laugh.
"Indeed you did ly, um can I speak to you for a minute?" Noel sheepishly asks me.
"You better not be trying to steal me bird noel, i've got a tattoo me, and i'll fuckin stab you'' Liam jokingly shouts.

God I love these boys and their shitty banter.
