the big five:in the beginning

Chapter five

Rapunzels P.O.V

i never thought that the first time i left my tower it would be to take down an ultimate evil. but i couldn't help but be excited. i looked out into the sky and just enjoyed the wind in my face.

"best day ever." i whispered to my self.

i looked around to see how the others are taking the new adventure. Merida and Elsa were talking which was good. i'm glad she has a friend. i looked behind me and saw hiccup still staring at Merida. i planned to talk to him about it later.

and then there Jack.he seemed really fun and sweet. i have never had anyone to trust, accept my mother, but i think i can trust Jack. i could sit for hours staring at him trying to decide if i can trust him and because he's gorgeous. wait, where did that come from. we're about to go fight and all i can think about is how gorgeos Jack is. 

after a minute of flying North threw a snow globe over the reindeers heads and then a swirling opening appeared  and if you looked closely at the portal you could see a faint picture of a palace with lots of bird-fairies flying around.

we had gone through, and was the worst expirience. i got a brief headache and i felt like being sick. my vision was blurry and my muscels were stiff and sore. i could also hear everyone else moaning as well. as i looked towards the palace all the fairies were gone and there was a tall figure made of sand in the open hall of the palace.

then the figure shot a dark shadow towards the sleigh and the reindeer got scared and ran to the ground causing us to crash land. everone jumped out of the sleigh and hiccup and toothless followed shortly after.

"well" a menacing voice began. "you must have got desperate if you got a bunch of children to do your job." i looked around and out of the shadows appeared a tall figure with grey skin, clear yellowy eyes and he was wearing all black.

"something tells me he's the bad guy." Hiccup said as we got in a protective circle in the centre of the room. i stood inbetween Merida and Jack. and the guy in black changed from a physical form to a shadow on the wall.

Merida was ready with her bow, Hiccup and toothless were prepared to fight and jack had his staff out and ready while Elsa still had her arms crossed as if she was disgraced to look at her hands. and the shadow moved toward hiccup and toothless began to growl. 

"oh please," he simply said and moved to face me. "how are you enjoying your first time outside. what would your mother think." as soon as he said that my mind was filled with images of my mum crying, thinking i'm dead or that i ran away. i was over whelmed by the guilt and felt as if i was about to burst into tears but i held them back because i didn't want to seem weak.

Elsa P.O.V

i looked at rapunzel who was on the brink of tears and i silently cursed Pitch for being so cowardly he would manipulate people emotions. the older guardians knew that they couldn't fight PItch when he's a shadow, but the act is very exhausting for him.

Pitch then moved towards Merida and i felt like jumping infront of my childhood friend and trying to avert his blows. but i was to scared and merida is tough, she can handle it. 

"ah, Merida princess of Dunbroch you know that all of your life is planned out for you and now the guardians are doing the same. pushing you into something that you're not ready for. and you know that you either have to break your mothers heart or give up your freedom." merida looked like she was about to punch him but knew that would be a dangerous idea.  

and then he moved on to me...

"ah Elsa. i've been feeding off of your fears for years. all of your memories are lined with fear" and before i knew it he created a cloud of black sand and started showing me my memories.
