Chapter Six

AYE! I've updated this book! I started watching RWBY again (mostly to catch up and fangirl over Qrow and Ozpin) and as I was watching I decided to update this book! So I decided to update so you guys can enjoy the story!-Hoshi

"Th-Thank you sir" I stuttered as he chuckled "you're a very good dancer" he smiled, "well you always told me that dancing and fighting are like the same...", "indeed they are...two partners interlocked, hm...but at least here on the dance floor one wrong step and you end up with a stubbed toe," he chuckled softly, I looked up into his brown eyes as he stared down into my e/c eyes. "Y/n! Hey!" yelled Ruby as I saw her and I smiled, "I will leave you to your friends Miss. L/n. Until next time," he then kissed my hand and walked off to talk with General Ironwood, I stumbled up to Ruby and my friends. "Having problems with these stupid lady stilts too?" she asked as I nodded, "how can anyone fight in these?" I groaned as she chuckled, "I know how you feel...I asked the same to Weiss earlier..." she laughed as she handed me a cup of punch.

We sat there and talked for a while, "so what were you and Ozpin talking about?" she hip bumped me as my ears went down and I blushed, "the fact that dancing and fighting are like the same. Y'know...the whole two partners interlocked...that kinda deal" I told her as she nodded. Then Blake and Sun walked up and Ruby walked off to get some fresh air. We all talked and had a blast at the dance. The next morning it was back to the regular grind. I had gotten up, got dressed, and headed to class.

*Time skip to the tournament because I'm lazy*

My team was up next for the tournament. I paced around my room. 'You got this Y/n...' I kept thinking as I left the room headed for Ozpins office. I knocked on the door. "Come in" I heard as I walked in and I saw Goodwitch, Ironwood, and Qrow. "Heya there Kitty Cat...how you been?" Qrow smiled, "I-I can come back later Oz..." my ears were down, "no...it's fine. We have just finished here anyways" he spoke as the three of them left and Qrow gave me a quick hug before leaving. "Are you okay Y/n? You look pale..." Oz was concerned and he approached me. "I'm terrified...what if I fail?" I looked up at him as he smiled sweetly at me. "Who trained you?" he cocked his head to the side, "you did sir...but still...what if I me-...", "who trained you again?" he repeated, "you did Oz..." I said "correct...and what am I?" he smiled again, "you're the man who raised me", "besides that..." he chuckled, "you're the headmaster of Beacon Academy," I said. "Exactly...you can do it and if you lose. I won't be upset," he said kissing my forehead.

'I should tell him...' I chewed on the inside of my mouth. "Oz...can I tell you something?" I whispered staring daggers into the ground, "of course Y/n" he cleared his throat. 'I'm eighteen...it wouldn't be illegal. Plus! He's not my blood father...would it be weird? He did raise me after all...well you'll never know unless you take a chance Y/n' I mentally told myself as I looked up at him and connected our lips. He was in shock at first but then returned the kiss.
