"Had to have high, high hopes for a living. Didn't know how but I always had a feeling."

A rough shake of the shoulder pulled Cyra out of an uncomfortable sleep, they were nearing the gates of Azgeda and being half asleep as they walked in probably wasn't the best idea. The horse was walking slowly as Roan shook Cyra's shoulder, she woke up abrubtly with a gasp - almost hitting Roan with the back of her head.

"We're almost there. So stay awake." He said in a monotone voice, ignoring the groans from Cyra. One thing that really surprised Cyra was the fact that she was still breathing, and one thing that scared her was what was going to happen when she got to 'Azgeda'. She pushed all her thoughts aside as she focused in staying upright on top of the horse.

"One word of advice, when you meet my mother, be proper and polite. I know that might be a weird concept for you but if you want to keep your head I suggest you listen." Roan said with a sly smirk tugging on the corner of his lips, Cyra didn't even have to look at him to know he was smirking.

"I'm always proper and polite!" She argued, even though in her head she knew she was the complete opposite. Roan scoffed, "Whatever you say Sky Girl.."

The two were getting closer to the gates of Azgeda, the guards from before were standing around waiting for the Prince to come either dead or alive - with or without the girl. Much to their dismay, both fo them showed up unharmed. Cyra's eyes traced the outlines of the fancy gate and walls - it was unlike anything she'd ever seen.

"Welcome to Azgeda." Roan whispered into her ear from behind her, sending a shvier down her spine. Countless men and women - all armed with spears and swords, stood around the gate in anticipation for the Prince's return. To say Cyra was intimidated would be the understatement  of the century, she had no training experience compared to everyone else.

Roan jumped off of the horse as Cyra followed behind, refusing to accept any form of help infront of all of the other people. She trailed directly behind him as they walked up to the gates. Countless murmurs surrounded her as guards blocked he entrance. "She's with me." Was all Roan said before they stepped aside, letting the girl through.

It was early in the morning, by now almost all of Azgeda had heard about the pod and the girl from the sky - everyone was completely fascinated by Cyra. While ignoring all the stares and whispers, Cyra followed Roan as they weaved through streets and buildings filled with people.

"Where are we going?" Cyra questioned as they continued to walk, her legs were already sore.

"To see the Queen." Roan simply said, earning a scoff from Cyra.

   "She can kiss my ass."

   "She is my mother."

   "That, I am aware of."

"Act like this infront of her and you'll be executed." Roan tried to get the last word.

Their bickering went on for minutes, despite her sarcastic remarks Cyra was terrified - but kept a brave face.

"That's the difference between you and I, Roan." She said his name in a hostile way, he glanced back at her in confusion.

"You have things to live for. People, to live for. I do not." Cyra deadpanned, neither of them said a single word the rest of the way.

The pair soon arrived at a large doorway - symbols of all sorts carved into them with guards standing on either side holding pointed weapons. Roan motioned for them to open the door, they silently obliged and swung open the heavy doors to reveal an elegant throne room. It reminded Cyra of a palace, but less classy - more 'Azgeda' she guessed.
