Kaycees POV.
As I walk into a school, for the first time, I feel like I'm gonna faint. Lockers everywhere, people everywhere. I'm not used to this. I'm normally homeschooled so I have no idea what it's like to be in an actual school.
I hear people talking about some type of group called the "golden boys" but I shrug it off. I look around the school walking backwards a bit then feel myself bump into someone.
I fall forwards about to embrace the pain I'm gonna revive but instead feel hands grab my waist and pull me up close to them. They quickly let go of my waist and I turn around slowly to see a boy. An Asian boy with May I add, the cutest dimples on earth. He smiles at me and I blush.
"Be careful where you walk" he says chuckling. "Sorry" I say looking down in embarrassment. He lifts my chin up causing me to smile. "Don't be sorry. It's all good" he says to me. I look around and he then looks at me confused.
"You new here? I haven't seen you before?" He asks and I nod. "Well come and meet my friends, I can already hear them laughing at talking about us" he says turning around glaring a couple of people.
I giggle and he looks back at me and smiles. He takes my hand and brings me to four other boys. One had dark skin with long hair and another with tan skin and curly hair. Then another boy had slicked back hair and glasses but not nerdy ones. Then one more boy. Who had a Hoddie on looking at his phone.
"Well my name is Sean." Says the guy who I bumped into. "And this is josh, Kenneth and Gabe" he says then when he gets to the other kid he sighs and chuckles. "Put your head up at least once DeGuzman." He says chuckling.
"DeGuzman?" I blurt out and then the boy looks straight at me.
"Kaycee?!"
"Julian?!"
I smile and run up to him and I hug him. He hugs back and picks me up turning around. "I thought you were homeschooled Rice?" He says patting my head and I laugh. "Well mom wanted me to go to normal school. He thinks it's better cause that's how she met her bestfriend!" I says rolling my eyes playing while giggling.
"Uh..... you guys know each other?" Says josh and we nod. Julian starts drinking his water while all the boys stare at me and him. "Are you guys like dating?" Sean blurts out and Julian spits the water all over me.
"JULIAN DEGUZMAN!" I scream causing all the boys except Julian to laugh. "Sorry sorry sorry.." he says trying to think of what to do. "Wait so are you?" Sean asks again and we both glare at him. "I guess that's a no..." he says and I look back at Julian.
"Ugh I'm gonna go to the bathroom and try to dry myself. Bye" I say walking away. I walk around and finally find the bathroom. I was about to walking in when someone grabbed my wrist. I turned around and saw Sean.
"Sean?" I say and he then quickly let's go of my wrist. "Um.. that shirt isn't gonna dry soon. No one else has a spare hoodie so.." he says handing me a grey hoodie. "Um thanks?" I say and he nods. "Um no problem! See you later" he says running away. "Well that was weird" I say to myself slipping on the hoodie and walking to my first class.
I walk into the room and see probably 6 out of 20 kids in the class. Their pretty loud but the bell hasn't rung yet so that's all good.
I tap the teachers shoulder and she looks back at me. "Oh hello. You must be kaycee" she says with a warm smile. "Yes I am." I reply and she smiles."I know a lot of new kids don't want to be introduced in front of everyone. So do you want me to skip or should I introduce you?" She asks me. Woah, I never knew a teacher could be so nice. "Um thank you. Yea I don't really like that so I'll just skip it" I respond and she smiles humbly. "Ok go take a seat anywhere in the room."
