"You made an F", Sarah's father boomed with a loud voice. "Well its not just an F see.", Sarah smiled nervously as she pointed at her Final grade sheet. "Its an F+", She whimpered as she tried to lighten the mood. Her father looked her with an angry expression. "I work two jobs to get into that school and this is how you repay me?", Her father said as he slapped the sheet with his hand in a flustered gesture. "I'm sorry daddy you know I hate anatomy It's so confusing I can't learn. Her father looked at her with a look of knowing. "Oh, how could you learn Sarah your teacher shows me your work you don't do them you just draw all over them. "But daddy, how can I grow as an artist if I don't draw.", Sarah said as she gave her father her most reassuring smile. "I'm not saying you can't draw I'm saying draw in art class not anatomy!", He said as he looked down at his phone. "Daddy I draw people doesn't that count as anatomy?", she said as she fidgeted with a loose hair from her short ponytail. "I'm done with your antics young lady I'm getting you a tutor.", he said as he showed her the page of the school website. "Daddy please don't Its just going to be an hour of me getting lectured by some nerd with huge zits all over his face.", Sarah pleaded with her hand held in a praying gesture. "NO young lady your getting a tutor and if you don't get your grades up I'm cutting your picture book allowance.", he grumbled as he tapped at his phone. Sarah huffed in a sigh of defeat as she grabbed her bag and put it on. She walked to her apartment door and opened it. She turned around and faced her dad. "Daddy this isn't 1965 their called manga.", she smiled and closed the door. She rushed down the stairs and to the curb. "Hey Sarah cat!", Emily said as she hurried over to were Sarah was and gave her a hug. "Hey Em", Sarah beamed as she hugged her back. "Hey why didn't you text me this morning.", Emily asked as he steeped back and pulled out her phone. The tiny Pikachu charm swaying in the wind. "Sorry my dad blew up at me about my grade.", she said as she pulled out her phone and dusted off the light-blue case. "Did you show him the plus?", Emily said as she pushed back her blue colored bangs. "Yah, guess what he even got me a tutor.", Sarah said as she flipped her light-brown bangs out of her light-green eyes. "Your dad is just once the best for you you know.", Emily said as put her ear behind her ear that was pierced by three silver ear hoops. Her caramel brown hand brushed against her red beanie. "I know, now are we going to get to school, or aren't we?", Sarah said as she tried to change the subject. She grabbed Emily's hand and pulled her along the side walk in a dash. LATER THAT DAY* Sarah sat in the library and doodled on a piece of paper as she waited for her new tutor to show up. She got bored and walked over to a shelf. She brushed her hand along the spine of books. She stopped on one of the books and flipped through the pages. She flipped through the pages and stopped on one. She looked at the page. She starred at the girl on the page she was dressed in a weird outfit. She almost looked like some kind of cheetah superhero. She rubbed her hand over the page. She shelled her eyes as the page burst in a beam of light. She felt her shoulder burn with pain. She dropped the book. She blinked her eyes and rolled up her sleeve. She looked at her shoulder that was covered with some sort of tattoo of a cat. She looked down at the book. She jolted her head up at the sound of footsteps. She dove down at the book flipped through the pages and tared out the page she was looking at. She grabbed the book as the door opened and threw it under the table. She slowly looked up and was greeted by the sight of a pair of black boots. She looked up and starred at the boy who was looking down at her. He flipped his black hair out of his face and held out a book for Sarah to take. "When your done crawling on the floor maybe we can start the lesson?", he asked in a mocking voice. Sarah smiled and stood up as she brushed the dirt off her black and white jacket. "For your information I do my best work on the floor.", Sarah said as she took the book out of his hand and slid into her chair. Sarah spent the rest of the lesson trying not to fall asleep as the boy paced across the library and started listing a bunch of bones. When they reached the end of the lesson the boy walked up to Sarah and poked her in the arm. She had fallen asleep and was startled by his poke. She flew back in her chair and hit the ground with a thud. He held out his hand for her to take it and she did he pulled her up and she rubbed her eyes. "You know if you think I'm that boring you could at least try to hide it.", he said as he looked down at the ground and noticed the book. "I'm sorry but I just can't stand anatomy it's so boring!", Sarah said as she grabbed her bag. She ran to the towards the door. "Hey I never caught your name?", Sarah said as she turned towards him. "Cole Vino", he said as he smiled at her. Sarah closed the door as Cole looked down at the book and picked It up. He turned through the pages and was soon met with a bright flash.
