Chapter // 4

Savannah's p.o.v

I glanced at the page I just finished reading. Closing the book I looked at the cover. "Interesting choice of book Fleur" I thought in my head rolling my eyes. She probably just picked it up randomly from just   looking at the cover. I looked at Fleur who was sleeping while Dimitri was driving. Xavier was leaning against the window with his eyes closed. He looked like he was sleeping.

I placed the book on my lap and looked outside. I noticed the car was slowing down. My heart skipped a beat and looked at Dimitri.

"Why are we stopping?" I asked no one in particular.

"Relax. He is coming to sit here and I am going to drive." Xavier mumbled. "We are not going to rape you. Okay?"

"Got it." I said softly leaning against the window and closing my eyes. I could not sleep even if I tried. I felt sleepy but I also felt like I slept for an eternity. I sighed, wondering whether to sleep or not.

The car stopped all together and Dimitri got out of the car and Xavier went and switched with him. After both of them got back in, Xavier started driving.

"How are you feeling?" Dimitri asked me.

"I'm fine, thanks. I'm glad you are not dead." I said, blushing. I did go crazy on him and shoot him so I thought apologizing would be good. “I am sorry for going ape-crazy on you”

"So am I. And it’s okay" he said, laughing a bit. "Do you want to go to sleep?" he asked me.

"Nah, it's alright. Where are we going anyway?" I questioned him.

"A motel for now." he said.

"Oh okay" I replied, looking at him.

"You know you can put your head on my lap and go to sleep, if you, like, want to" he said, looking away. I can see he was slightly blushing.

"Okay you two love birds; I would like to drive without you two having a cute chit chat back there. Just put your head on his lap, you know you want to" Xavier said, teasingly.

"Oh, shut up," I said, rolling my eyes at his immaturity. Dimitri caught my eye and smiled, patting his lap. I stuck my tongue at him and placed the book on the floor of the car and took off my shoes. I put my legs up and Dimitri handed me the blanket. I placed the blanket on me, and put my head on his lap.

Considering the fact that I am a girl. And I obviously have hormones. I was literally fan-girling inside. I closed my eyes and relaxed.

"Oh for fucks sake, are we almost there? I need to pee so badly" I woke up to the sound of Fleur moaning. What the hell?

I sat up right, realizing my head was still on Dimitri's lap, adjusting the blanket and tying my hair into a neater ponytail. It looked like it was sometime around the afternoon.
