Thirteen

-Y/n POV-

Natsu and I walked home side by side reminiscing about what has happened over the past few months. I have missed being with him, natsu is always so happy and joyful to be around.

He cuts off my thinking pattern by breaking the silence.

"Hey you and I should go on a mission soon!" He says excitedly.
"It's been forever since we have gone on a job together, that's a great idea natsu!" I smile.
He gets a slight blush across his cheeks as he smiles down at me.

"Hey y/n?" Natsu asks as we wander the streets of magnolia.
"Yeah?" I reply.
"Team Natsu is going to to some fancy resort because Loke gave us all passes to it, do you want to come w-with us?" Natsu stutters out. I almost let out a chuckle hearing him stutter.
"Would that be alright?" I ask unsurely, not wanting to interrupt or intrude.
"Well yeah!" He yells happily.
"T-then I would love to" I say smiling nervously.
"Sweet!" Natsu smiles back
"Jeez, never thought Loke would give you and Gray resort tickets, I thought he'd take as many girls as he could with him" I laugh.
"It's a long story" Natsu shakes his head with a smile.

That night the two of us sat up and packed everything we needed for the small holiday, catching up some more about lost time.

"Do you want any more dinner?" I ask the dragon slayer as he pats his full stomach.
"No thanks, but thanks for the grub! It was delicious" he says smiling at me with a content face.
I smile happily back at him, I really missed that idiot.

-Natsu's pov-

Man y/n makes the best food! It's always so tasty! Man I have missed it!

"I'm glad you liked it, would you mind if I go bathe?" She asks in a timid tone while softly smiling.
"Go ahead. Is it all good if I crash here tonight?" I ask before she walks away.
"Of course you can, take the bed" she smiles showing her perfect dimples.
"Thanks n/n" I say and walk upstairs into her large bedroom.
It's a mostly white room with some cute little accessories around the place, her queen sized bed has a white and f/c coloured cover and pillow cases. It's a cute homey feeling room, fitting for y/n. My favourite thing in her room is the picture of the two of us on Christmas, I'm dressed like Santa and she was an elf, she has always loved Christmas.

I chuckle as I pick up the small photo in the frame, I smile at the picture before putting it back down on the table and laying down in the comfy bed.
Her sweet scent from the bedsheets fill my nose, it's such a comforting feeling.
I smile to myself before shutting my eyes and going to sleep.

-y/n pov-

I walk back to my bedroom with my towel around my wet hair, I'm dressed in my f/c pj's and fluffy socks. I walk into my room and see natsu laying asleep in my bed, snoring slightly with a small smile on his face.
'He's so cute' I think to myself as I walk over to his sleeping body.
"Goodnight natsu, sleep well" I whisper next to him, lean down and kiss him gently on the forehead after brushing a small piece of soft pink hair out of the way. I smile at myself and pick up a pillow from the other side of the bed and walk back downstairs to the couch.

After getting myself comfortable I snuggle up on my long couch and yawn.
"Goodnight" I say quietly to nobody in particular and slowly drift off to sleep.

The next morning I woke up surprisingly in my bed, feeling extra warm.
I know Natsu would have carried me up while I was asleep because he used to do it quite often whenever we stayed together when we were younger.
I lean my head on his toned chest and snuggle into his warm arms that are tightly wrapped around me subconsciously. I love waking up like this even if he isn't awake, it has been a very long time since we shared the bed let alone saw each other at all so I wanted to relish this for as long as I could. I smile to myself and enjoy the few minutes of cuddles before decided to wriggle out of his grip and go get ready for the day.

-Natsu's pov-

"Hey natsu, there's a creepy girl staring at gray over there and she's been following us all day but I didn't want to say anything. What should we do?" Asks y/n concernedly while pointing at a blue haired woman hiding behind a pole at the train station. 
"Her? Oh that's Juvia, you weren't around when phantom lord attacked us. Well, about 3 weeks ago, a bit after Lucy joined the guild we all come back from an s-class mission and the guild was all beat up. The guild Phantom lord we're the ones responsible so we went and kicked their asses! There was a group of four strong wizards called the element 4, she was the water one of the element 4" I explain.
"She's obsessed with ice boy, just ignore her. She won't hurt you" I smile at her pretty face.
"Oh okay, I think I've heard of her. She's the rain woman isn't she?" Y/n asks sweetly.
"Sure is" I reply nodding.
"She's creepy" She says.
"Mhmm" I nod.
"Wait hold on! You went on an s class mission!?" Y/n spins around shocked, only just registering what I had said.

Before I could reply I see the metal chunk of pain roll into the station then Erza punched me, knocking me out so I couldn't reply.

When I woke up I was on y/n's back, she was piggy backing me up some stairs, but she didn't seem to be struggling at all.
I let out a soft groan, scaring y/n. I felt her flinch then stops walking, her neck snapping back to look at me but she couldn't since I was oblivious on her back.
"Natsu you're awake! Are you okay?" She asks sweetly with concern.
"Yeah, just sore" I croak. I climb off her back and stretch, cracking my back and letting out a yawn.
"Ahh that's better" I say, looking over to y/n who is still smiling over at me.
"We made it to Akane resort, everyone is already in their rooms, I took all of your things to your room already with gray but I had to come back and get you." She says smiling at me.
"Thanks n/n, eh-WAIT DID YOU SAY WITH GRAY?! I DONT WANT TO SHARE A ROOM WITH THAT FREAK!!!" I scream.
"Well it's not just gray, you have happy too..." she says trying to make me feel better.
"UGH THIS SUCKS" I yell.
"Can't you stay with me instead? You're way cooler than that ice freak" i sook.
"Nice try but I am staying with Lucy and Erza, besides there are two beds in your room, you don't even have to be near him." She giggles.
"I guess" I sigh and put my hands behind my head.
"Well your room is 130 and it's on the 7th floor, do you need any help getting there?" She looks at me with her big e/c eyes, her freshly washed, glossy h/c hair flowing down her back.
"I-I think I'll be good" I say embarrassedly. I can feel my face getting hotter, I don't want her to see me like this, it's embarrassing.
"Okay, well call out if you need me. And by the way we are going to the beach in an hour or so , so be ready but I'm sure gray will tell you about it. See you soon natsu!" She says happily and waves goodbye to me. I watch her as she walks away.
'What is wrong with me?'
