Making The Right Decision.

One shot !

Just after midnight Emma walked out of the Sheriffs station after a very long shift. She knew her pregnant wife Regina & son Henry were home, hopefully sleeping peacefully. She decided to stop and have a beer at the local bar in town on the way home. It was slow at the bar for a late Thursday night. As Emma sat there and sipped her beer she noticed that a lovely looking woman a few seats down was smiling at her. Emma, being the nice person she is smiled back. After a few moments a small book of matches was slid to her. The woman a few seats over wrote her name & number on the inside flap. Looking at it Emma smiled. She looked at the woman that sent the message. The woman smiled after seeing Emma smile. Emma grabbed her beer and went over to the jukebox and played a few slow songs. Waking back to the bar, Emma pulled out money to pay for her beer & also bought a drink for the woman that sent over the matchbook. She walked over to the woman and Emma said "thank you, but no thank you. " and handed her back the match book. The woman looked surprised, so Emma told her, " I have a son & a beautiful pregnant wife at home and I love them with all my heart. I've played a few songs, and I want you to dance in someone's lucky arms but they will never be mine. ". After that Emma said goodbye and left the bar to drive home. Walking in her home, she made sure all the doors & windows were locked. Then she went up stairs and checked on Henry, who was all snuggled in bed sleeping. After that she went to her & her wife's bedroom,quietly of course, but Regina was awake & waiting for her wife. Walking in to the room they both smiled at each other. Regina was so happy her wife was home safe. Emma changed into her pajamas, washed up & brushed her teeth, then went to bed to snuggle up to the woman she loved. Regina asked " how was you're day baby ?" Emma sighed and said "it was a very long day, but I'm so happy to be home with you and Henry and this new little one here". Emma said as she rubbed her wife's belly. Regina smiled. They both gave each other a kiss good night and both drifted off to a peaceful sleep.
