Chapter 28

Maggy's POV

I kissed him. I kissed Liam. I kissed him in the lips just like how i wanted it to be. I wanted to do this, but I have been stuck with the voice in my head that keeps on telling me to back off. But not now! I want to show him that it was not over when he left San Francisco. It's never over.

He hugged my waist and that's the moment when a tear fell from my eyes. I know this is wrong. Everything I feel and this thing i'm doing right now is wrong, but if this is what being wrong feels like? Then I never wanted to be right. Ever.

"I love you"

He said in between kisses.

What?! I parted my lips from him and stared at his eyes. He did not just say that.

"Uhh. What?"

He smiled at me and hugged me tighter. What? Is he trying to kill me?

"Liam. I can't breathe"

He loosen his hug and kissed me in the head.

"This is not right. We have to stop"

I swallowed the lump in my throat before answering back.

"I know. I'm sorry. Let's just forget that this thing happened okay?"

He held my shoulders and looked at me in the face in question.

"No. We will not forget this! You always say that. I want to be with you and that's what matters Maggy"

I tried to stop my tears. Jerk. Then why is he with Sophia?!

"Oh. then what about Sophia?" I asked with a very soft voice.

"She's someone whom the management asked me to ride along with. I had to do it to keep our image"

What?!

"and she wants to make everything real..but I dont. I just can't take it to another level when i'm in love with you"

It sounds so good to hear.

"and don't dare ask me to forget about this because this is where my fantasy starts to be my reality. You happen to be both. So you have to stick around and deal with the situation"

I gave him a nod and he smiled back. Does it mean like we're some girlfriend and boyfriend in private already?

"and.."

he stopped talking when suddenly, a camera flashed.

Sophia's POV

The next day, i came to work in my usual time. I wish Liam would just move in with me in my apartment so he could always drop me here at work.

"Hey Sophia you should check this blog out"

Rowie said as he presents his laptop to my face.

"Row can i just drop my rhings first before checking that?"

He rolled his eyes and dragged me to my office very fast. What the hell?

Upon reaching my workplace, he got my bag and placed it in my table then walked up to me, took my hands and asked my to sit on my chair.

Okaaay?

"Okay first of all, breathe in and breathe out"

And i did.

"and then.. close your eyes and think of happy thoughts"

I closed my eyes.. and then I realized that I'm being stupid to follow this things so i opened my eyes and slapped him in his right arm.

"What the hell!"

He faked a smile and faced his laptop to me.

"Uh.."

He scrolled down and there, I saw my Liam. with Maggy!

"I know I know. Please don't hyperventilate Soph. Just relax and take a deep breath"

I took a deep breath and glared at him. This is war.

"I'll be waiting for her on the front door"

I stood up and walked with head up in the lobby. I passed by Jules who looks so scared and I just didn't mind. I know he knows this too.

When I reached the door, Maggy was about to open it already.

"Good morning Sophia"

She smiled sweetly. Oh my gosh!

"go to hell. Meet me at my office in 5 minutes"

Then, i turned my back and left her dumbfounded.
