When do get to fucking leave this place. I said to myself in my mind not trying to get in trouble for being in detention. I put my hood up and put my earbuds in. I watched the door open with Mr. Smith and that new kid. "Got into fight with Matthew Jones for looking at a certain someone." He said moving his eyes back to the teacher and back at me signalling that I was the one. I got the smell of burning bark. I loved it. Don't judge me. I think its that new kid. Why do I feel that way about him already. I just met him. Let alone even talk. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HIS NAME! I thought. "Ace Walker you found her." The detention teacher said winking. He rolled his eyes and sat in the back with me. "Can I use the bathroom," Ace asked. "Teagan go with." He answered back. "But sir I can't go with him," I said. "Go now.." He said looking down at his book. I walked up to the door and opened it and walked down to the bathrooms. "Stop...." He said softly. "I don't know what you're talking about," I said looking away. "You're mine Rock back." He towering over me. I felt so weak. "Don't you smell the burning bark?" He asked looking down at me. He had such a power to him. He bent down towards my ear. I froze. "Cause you smell really good, like white roses." He said. RING RING RING!! He quickly grabbed me and slipped something in my back pocket. "Come over to the party." He said with just a smirk. I don't know how to explain it was so...                                                                                                                                                         I slowly walked out the school. Shocked. I don't wanna go home. I hate it there. I'll go to Riley's house. I walked about two blocks from the school to get to her house. I knocked on the door. Her older brother opened the door, Zayden. "Hey kiddo. She's in her room right now." He said already knowing why I was here. "Thanks," I said. "Hey Tea, is everything okay? You come here a lot and never really want to go home." He asked turning around looking at me dead straight into my eyes. "I just really like it here....." I said and walked upstairs to her room. I walked in and she was laying in her bed looking at her phone. "Hey you going to the party?" I asked. She got up. "Hell yeah." She said walking over to me. "Lets get ready." She said walking to her bathroom and grabbed something. She popped her head out and showed fake nails. "I love fake nails," I said walking over and grabbed the feathers. "So what do you want to with your hair?" She asked. "You got dye..." I asked. She slowly looked at me. "Yea, pitch black." She getting up and walking over to the bathroom. She had a pretty color in her hand. "Wow can I dye it please?" I asked her. "Sure I never liked that color anyways." She said
